Anyone who played before VU10 will remember the atmosphere of the background babble ingame. This is a very very simple feature that can be added to the game again. Why it is missing years later is anyones guess.

But if you want it back, vote in the poll.

PS. If anyone has video of the babble, please post it. Added a 2008 MindArk video, very interesting what they thought CE2 would do.

It provided feedback. A way to know the other person was interacting with you. This is basic in any social enviroment.

Also made the cities feel more alive. Twin Peaks felt like a real market place back then.
 
They'll bring back the babble but it will sound like Camo's used to.

I really miss the good old babbling..
I miss the old music..
I miss the old sound of my ml-35..
I miss the old crit sounds..
 
The babble was cool IMO.

But that gorilla that you can hear at full volume from across the map is truly aggravating.
It would be nice to be able to mute that thing.
