Unable to connect, Entropia forces internet to stop working?

Strange as it may sound the client and launcher makes my internet almost stop working. I've attempted running it in compatibility mode, running it as an admin, tried running it without my firewall on and with specific rules on firewall for program. Tried restarting computer multiple times and router multiple times. This is easily recreatable, soon as I hit play all internet traffic seems to stop. Internet browsers won't refresh. As soon as the application is closed the browsers refresh without delay. Has this been heard of before?

Thanks in advance! Never played this game and fancy dabbling now that I'm done with EVE for a bit.
