Planet Cyrene - October 2016 Update

Hello everyone,

While today we do have some bug fixes rolling out for certain issues; Hail Lazidol! mission, a fix for the Empis Wasp Queen FAP combine, as well as some more simpler ones. These will come with the Mini Patch next week.

That being said, there will be no new content added to Planet Cyrene today, October 4th 2016.

We are still focused on resolving the issues that are currently plaguing Cyrene, especially the loot drops / vendor item stocks, as well as laying down a ground work for future players to have a better starting experience and veteran players to have a multitude of complete game play options on Cyrene.

In the mean time, we will be updating the Cyrene Dynamic Upgrade Map with all the players work during this time and sharing more about what we'll be doing and what is coming up for Cyrene, not limited to but including: shops, booths, land areas, new content, and PvP.

Each will get their own forum thread and all players can post feedback about the new content before it comes out.

how in the hell do you re-trigger that dialogue window where you put the shrap and generic leather in in the new suit mission?!? nobody has generic leather just WITH HIM randomly walking around...

I'm not online so I can't confirm, but check under the list of items when you press Y. That is where you find the mission galactica button (you can also find it if you right click). Hopefully someone who is online can confirm if I'm right or not.
 
hm not sure what you mean exactly but I found out in the meantime that in order to get that put-loot-in-here-window again you just need to go back to the terminal. :rolleyes: I blame the fact I'm tired

Fast forward to "Let's team hunt something, no chainsaws please!!1!" - because few people would be able to tolerate the sound for longer than five minutes. :laugh:
 
Great job posting all that.

Some of it (no most of it) is disappointing. Nothing new in Ark, Cyrene got a little pat on the head, and RT continues to be wack as all get out. Sorry to be a party pooper, but that picture that includes a bong - that is just inappropriate IMO. Just saying.

Anyhow - also underwhelming update with calypso, but some fixes are there which sound very needed.
 
well RT always was the most disgusting planet. the "theme" ND is using is so childish and ugly that i cant stand being there for more than 15 minutes. it certainly doesnt fit the style of the game... and most disturbingly is this guy, who obviously has a big confusing mess in his head considering his theme, gets to be the "president of virtual reality"

From the monsters lurking outside of the chopshops? Or from the chopshops' instances (which requires some key or something)?

And frankly, I'm guessing its probably looted from the instances...

I don't know exactly, but it says above they are crafted. Last night I asked in Rock chat, but nobody disovered the blueprints yet. We'll see soon enough I guess.

Crafted huh? Hmmmm.....

Stuff I do know
- There's an instance entrance available at each of the two chopshops. One for "Bonzos Chopshop" and one for "Gas and Go Docks".
- Each of the instance requires their own "key" to enter.
- The blueprint for crafting this "key" appears to be sold in the "poptropia shop" for either rockbucks or rotten bananas.
- They are "crafted" chainsaws.

So my educated guess would be....that the crafted chainsaws' blueprint(s) is probably gonna need some "controlling" ingredient(s) which would probably be dropped only from these two chopshop instances.

He who controls the "key" blueprint controls the supply of chainsaws?

I saw that, but I didn't update that in this list since it was technically not part of this VU. I will most likely create a new thread after the mini patch if there is enough news across the planets. Thanks!
