Chat focus should not be taken away!

One of the most annoying recurring things is when typing in chat and focus is lost because a teleport chip finishes loading, several windows get opened uselessly.
Please change the system so that if you are typing in chat, absolutely nothing can interrupt and remove focus from the chat!

Really? I thought that kept chat focus even after hitting enter...
Happy to be wrong about it if that's the case!

So this is not the solution... what that option does is keep chat focus after you've entered a line of text, requiring a mouse-click or press of the esc key to get out of it.
My problem is chat focus is lost mid-sentence when certain things happen, like a TP chip finishing to load.
