Entropedia v2

Seems like I am having troubles loading the page, or site is down atm so I cant check ;(

During creation of the new weapon compare tool, formulas were fixed to reflect how it is actually. Old entropedia was calculating dpp and dps wrong. Its almost not noticeable unless u start using buffs. New weapon compare tool includes the right formula now, but ofc it could have some mistakes there. As soon as site is back up I will check it.

Sokolade,

If the formula for a maxed weapon has indeed changed any chance you could let us know the new formula for our own calulators/sheets?

Im still running off this;

Damage per shot = ((Wpn Dmg + Amp Dmg) * 0.9 * 0.75) + ((Wpn Damage + Amp Dmg) * CH * CD)

Old pedia was calculating 0.2 FB from each enhancer, but it is 0.4 also it used to calculate base Fb as 2% from all shots while it actually is 2% of your hit rate.

I hope that makes sense

new pedia weapon compare is correct at least when i tried hc204 + imk2 it shows correct values

Cheers
Soko

I knew the 2% vs 4% for enhancers was incorrect in the old version and I understand the logic behind the 2% base only affecting the hits not shots.

However the numbers still don't seem to add up to the correct values.

Could one of the guys managing this tool post the formula?

A better example might be this (based off your new compare tool)

For ML-35 Adj is shows;

No CD Inc = 1.620 crit component
100% bonus CD = 2.430 crit component

In any formula I have seen an increase of 100% should always double the component (in this case it should be 3.240 crit component at 100% CD) This is done on stock gun, no enhancers, amp, reload or crit chance.

would be nice to have full tested formula so i could see what is wrong, ex gun like m32 adj, eco, dmg, crit

2016-12-06 Added new Loot Calculator tool in Tools, which let you calculate your loot tt value.

http://www.entropiawiki.com/peloot.aspx

Rules :

1. Try to not upload bigger than 100MB files (will be long upload for you)
2. Try not to put all "Year" log, it can parse only 29000 loot lines, else it will give you an error. (made for security limits)
3. You have to be in team to be able to log loot to chat.log
4. Default chat log location is : C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Entropia Universe
5. Tool not track TT value of L items because it can be partial, all 0 value items marked RED.

Added new feature in to loot calculator :

testing showed, that you can determinate "bad period" by checking "evades" average.

With missions has something changed with the Completed status? I vaguely remember changing mine to completed years ago, but now everything states completed and just turns red if you click the word ( and no way to filter missions that haven't been completed)

Reminder on this, would like to be able to track the missions I have completed and then also filter by that.

So we now have a vehicle that hovers but only over land. (Meh.)

'Type' column is now almost entirely useless. How about introducing a 'Mode of movement' column with choice limited to 'Flying', 'Amphibious', 'Water only' and 'Land only'? Unless I'm missing something, each and every planetside vehicle falls into one of these four categories. (Capability to enter space is sort of covered by 'Attachments' column)

On a related note, privateers and motherships cannot enter the atmosphere and should not be in the Vehicles chart at all now that we have a Spaceships chart. Also, Justifier is already covered in UL quad entry.

Thoughts?

I couldn't enter entropedia map polygon draw mode working when I tried to add polygon to BIG ALA#5 area to arkadia map.

Now the coast line is not accurate when using WKT input mode, because you need to add multiple of points, and I was lazy to get them all to make it accurate.

yes i noticed this situation with arkadia and undergound, seems map coordinates are wrong, need more testing, but tried to add it in wkt mode ant it was added correctly

Fixed shops, added block :)
check please

It works now.

If it not too much work maybe edit that table column order is Block - Floor - # (largest to smallest unit)
And add same columns to shop table

I did a search and didn't see anything, maybe I missed it...

Anyways, will armor v mob and armor adviser be fixed so it takes into account how armor really works these days? (no more overprotection)

If somebody knows the true formula for certain and we have accurate enough damagetypes of the mobs then it might be worth investing the time to set that up.

As it is now its extremely tricky to do and if not accurate then iMO better to not put the effort to it.

maybe i missed it, but...

is there a way to safe all my professional standings, so weapon/item charts automatically show correct skill based values (if i like to) for all items with known skill requirements?

(oh, and i am a shy noob, so i dont want to see my private data be public ...:ahh:)

Doer and Oleg are the experts on the formulae for armor/plates. Check their posts from around 2014, when the change occurred. It should only require changing the formula used in creation of the table. I think this would be worthwhile to update, as those tables are routinely used by players in making equipment decisions.

Calculation of the damage types of mobs is also a specialist area, generally only carried out by a handful of experienced players who have the range of armor sets for accurate testing. Unfortunately, these are not fields that can be locked by Trusted User group members. Ideally imho, the calculations should be fully shown in a forum thread (or similar), with a link to the thread placed in the edit comment for future reference.

My thanks to the team who have taken on on-going maintenance and development of Entropedia :)

Yes, use the Skill scanner and upload your skills to Entropedia. The skills though would be public.

thank you, Svarog.

but my question was aimed more at the second part, about using safed stats in weapon charts.
years ago i have uploaded skills, but they dont seem to get used for the weapon charts.

i found something about the skills that have to be linked to the account. where do i see, if they are "linked", however that may work?

You need to create a page of your avatar (here, Add item, etc), then on the account page select that avatar as yours.

Hey,
savrog is right :)
there simply connect your account with avatar name in Account page, you can only add few skills, that effect your hit and damage of gun.

if you are not using skill scanner, it is really simple to do it by yourself, just adding it to text file.

syntax : skill/profession,0.00,type

About armor formula, yes , team is already figuring out how is to be made to fix it. Help from outside about new formula how it should be is super needed :)

About armor calculator, im confused,

please help someone who can calculate and say what is wrong there.Hence i do not use armors much.

okay. seems im "linked" correctly from the beginning.

just the skills are so old, that i seemingly just dont notice them in weapon charts.
i will humbly wait for an option to make stats privat.

thank you very, very, very much for your great revival of entropedia!
