I see over 60 thousand money transactions for ma between mid Nov. 2016 and Jan 3 ish ....

Judging by the prices of CLD's .... I will go on the record and say they were mostly deposits :cool:
My guess is when MA reports 2016 year end numbers (usually in the summer) they will post solid gains.

My question to the community is: how was your year?

Did you accomplish your goals for 2016, did you even have some goals for 2016 ..... (hehe I know some of you didn't even have goals) and lastly what are your goals for 2017?

The goal of this thread is to reflect on the past to spark excitement for the future! If you are not excited about the upcoming year I encourage you to spend some time thinking about yourself and to Dream a little ....

What are your goals for 2017 and beyond!!!

My goal would be to make peace with arkadia staff and arkadian forum trolls if they admit and apologise for all their wrong doings and repent their ways.

Simple enough goal making peace is always good. How achievable is it? probably not very achievable as people especially ones in power rarely admit to their wrong doings let alone apologise for them. As to how large the goal is I'd think quite huge because if achieved it would improve the whole game for the better and allow people to speak their thoughts without being victimised. If Luke Skywalker can take on and defeat an evil empire perhaps George Skywalker can at least make an attempt :)
 
I intend to focus on my land areas and my own hunting experiences to build something unique and fun.

To the guy posting above, sometimes it's best to take the first step and with your attitude, it will never happen. In fact, you are purposefully making it so that it doesn't. That makes you a hypocrite.
 
My most important goal is to achieve my first 10k skill point barrier and that will be in FIRST AID! :eyecrazy:

I am now 29 points away from ultimate master which is 9500 points

I had no goals coming into 2016, didn't even play then. But as I got back to the game again I set the goal for 2016 to unlock commando.

Due to time restraints because of some RL stuff I didn't even come close.

Goal for 2017 is unlocking kill strike, nonetheless.
 
My 2016 was hectic more so due to RL (not as many goals that were accomplished due to this), but for 2017 and moving on the following are as below.

A few goals for my 2017 Entropia Universe adventures: (just chose 7 goals for now to keep it lucky and simple)

1) Obtain or get 200 at a minimum ARC Faction Badges on Cyrene (currently at 145).
2) Reach level 15 sweat gatherer & must sweat a mob on each EU planet (currently at level 12).
3) Help or assist 7 non-Society members ingame in any way, shape, or form (may not involve item/ped handouts or free lapdances, lol).
4) Reach level 25 at a minimum treasure hunter (currently at level 18).
5) Hit a 5-digit HOF or Tower (which ever comes first). If this occurs, I'll withdraw 50% of it, and give it to a RL charity (will post screenshots of all transactions as well).
6) Reach level 70 in any profession (highest atm is level 65 BLP Sniper & 64 Laser Sniper).
7) Most important of all is to have fun doing all of the above.

2017 goals:
-Play less EU (the fun/cost ratio is just getting too small and gambling too tempting)
-Learn to play some guitar and piano (Hey that yousician app is really great!)
-Play with making my own digital synth algorithms and hardware
-Play as much as I can with my 6 and 8 year old girls before they become grownups
 
EU Goal for 2016 was to place in the Rocktropia Champions League. Last round this weekend so Only 100pts to achieve that.


My 2017 goal is fairly straightforward but will be a mammoth task.

Through the mining profession only (Unlimited Level 2 + Limited Finders) mine enough profit to purchase an Improved A-3 Justifier Mk.II.
 
My main goal is to win this contest.
 
Crone plans to help the company he works for out of misery by actually being a bookkeeping (boring) sales person. Crone might as well start now, but he would consider this spam himself.

Crone's employer delivers workforce management in technical positions, mostly old and new energy related. Think recruiting to exit and every step in between all together or just one step. From a single person to complete staff. For more info send Crone a pm here or in game.

Where did u get the info about the transactions?

At the end of november Mindark had made a loss of 4 million SEK. I Think they would be happy just to break even.
 
To see dead people, thats my goal.

On a serious note, my utlimate goal is to tier my guns further and get to lvl 100 in more than 1 Professional (handgun, rifle, Club, shortblade and longblades).

Weird non mentioned that their goal will be to win or loose more :laugh:
 
Goals for 2017:

- Kill strike (certainly)
- 300k skills (possibly)
- first 5-digits loot (lol)
 
My 2017 EU goal is to continue taming and hit some higher professional level targets.
I didn’t have any easy gained old school taming skill points, so I’ve spent the last two years solid grinding and finally reached “Exceptional” Animal Tamer (level 51) two days ago.

Although “Amazing” sounds a lot better than Exceptional, so that’s my next pro target.

I will also continue developing my compet village, and hope that game is successful.
Because its success will have a huge impact on my ability to fund progress in EU (via the deeds + reasonable deposits).

At some point I’d like to push-on with Mindforce and Laser Rifle to get those both to level 80 (very close).

I also hope there’ll be a pet update, and more uses for pets beyond just passive buffs.
Maybe if the space update comes with more ships, I might get into that.

I was asked to tame a Sapphire Atrox recently, and it made me feel really good to be of some use to others.
So who knows maybe more opportunites like that ahead.

My ultimate dream is to tame a spider….although I’m patient, as I’m sure MA have a lot more pets to introduce before they get to spiders.

I’d also like/need some upgraded armour, but I think my only real hope of that is if MA does ‘Gremlin’ upgrade (because that’s all I’ve got).
I’d like to get a better healing tool or chip, but it might be out of reach…will see.

If the availability of upgrade mats for the justifier MKII increases, so that it’s more affordable. Highly likely I’ll try and get one of those adjusted guns.
Then it will be step closer to getting back into hunting for me.

I might treat myself to an A106 or A105 amp, as special purchase (if I can get the gun up and running).

In all honesty I think it’s going to be another year of “just getting by” for Rick, I try to fool myself it won’t be a hard year, but I just know it will be.

However I’ll do what I can to be active, and make some progress.
I'm sure I do make progress, I just set my personal goals at unrealistic levels...ha,ha,ha.

2016 was the year our society leader passed away, the year we changed from Odysseus Unbound to the Ministry because of that. Our leaders avatar will forever be the leader of Odysseus Unbound.

It was also the year I sold most of my CLD for 2k ped each, withdrew 5k dollars, bought AUD with the rest for 55 ped, and then they ran out of AUDs so the price went up to 70 ped. I bought a landarea with these inflated Auds.
I am currently rebuilding my stock of both CLD and Aud with Landarea income.
I sold my Monria shop for a nice price to help the buildup.

I maxed out my xeno dagger scratcher and completed the transition from a laser pistoleer to a knife fighter. More dps for a fraction of the price? Yes please!

I bought Shadow shins and sand stormer feet

Goals for 2017:

-300k skills is within reach
-New armor arms, new armor thighs
-Adj resto chip
-Mod 2600
-2k dollar withdrawal while still building up more AUD and CLD.
 
2016 all of my Booths reached their maximum points :)

Another goal for 2017 is to have my underground Booths as profitable as my Booths in Celeste Quarry

Wow what good year you had and its great to see someone with business sense who knows you can still achieve goals and do well in game. When so many others say the game is dyeing, becoming a giant casino or lossing touch with RCE roots. Great inspiration for other players (i know its possible for everyone, as someone has to pay for someones else success). Good luck for this year.
 
I had my goals and become Great Grand Master in BLP hit and dmg. Now My goal for 2017 is to sell all i have.:)
 
No goals set or reached and 2017 will be equally uneventful - as if :D

I think MA lost money this past year, but that's just it. "I think". There are so many factors that most players seems unaware of. For instance, since MA is a Sweden based company with all transfers working towards the American dollar. Which makes it volatile against two markets. With the American dollar increasing (in respect to the SEK this past year at least ) that sure makes things a little bit harder for MA
