compets!?...
I don't think so, at least not directly...
My take on this is that some people who work at EU are very good at English and selecting exactly what words to use - and others aren't. Generally, the wording of marketing stuff seems to be very carefully chosen, so what can just three words tell us?
Battle simulator instance: I think this is going to be built around the story of the robot invasion and that we will train against 'simulated' robots. We already have various bot instances, though, so what would be really different and what would be a sort of rebranding to get more people active?
Point one: access from anywhere presumably means from ANY planet, so it is content accessible without travelling. What does this mean in terms of planet partner revenue/MA, or even a new splitting of this? We know that underground instances are not part of underground revenue, for example, so could MA be up to something here? I'd like to know more about this point as we move on...
Point two: I don't know much about ND's instances, but I believe players can invest in different mob levels/loot packages. Again, the EU platform may be moving more towards handling more specific and smaller revenue areas, including individual 'ownership'.
What I am trying to piece together is possible connections between the development of: land plot functionality, ComPets, instances and maybe also why space has had to wait so long without an upgrade.
Are we due for a new primary version number for EU soon....?
