If I don't get a glob from a Atrox soon...... I've been on the Iron IV mission and been getting a few globs now and then but in the last 2 days.....nothing... My last one was at 2875 day before yesterday ,yesterday at the end of my day I had 3359 trox kills..between those numbers,no globs and just a few decent loots...
Do I just have bad luck or is this normal .

Kinda pissed....thnx
 
LOL.. I ain't shittn ya..My first trox old 131 ped glob just a couple mins ago..
I hope it don't take another 480 to get another one...

It's normal, Atrox have decent HP and require a much longer cycle than say... Kerberos or Argonaut. I am 8/10k and can tell you that loot swings are pretty long with them, so don't give up.

That said if your primary objective is to sustain yourself hunting, Atrox is probably not the best option out there.

What is decent mob to go for to at least stay around even?

At least even (i.e. 100% returns)?

I'm going to guess you don't have >3.2 dpp... so, nothing.

Change the gear , or change the mob for a couple of days
 
maybe try Trax instead of Trox?

You need a lot of peds for atrox.. :) i am on 2k/10k.. and stoped for a bit... loot swings are crazy... and sometimes its feels like going for a nr1 in a sea :D .. but then taht evade reward is so tempting :) one day :) i will finish it for sure :D

Things looking up a bit.. hit one a few hrs ago fr 131 ped..just hi a young for 195 .

I cant imagine going for the 10k..lol
I got 1.5 to go for 5k mission...

However I don't understand how it's possible that majority of people complaining about loot/or how bad the game is/or if they plan to quit(no offence to the OP :) ) they hit something nice in the very near future.

This(in my view at least) is definitely something which is not one of the variables of the loot algorithm, but looks more like a optional 'button' used whenever necessary to bring +1 for MA reputation or used to 'slidely adjust' your perception about MA/or the game.

P.S. @MA: Using this opportunity to let you know that I plan to quit this game. Let's hope will have same effect for me as well :)

Correlation does not imply causation. People have that feeling because the ones complaining the most are probably worse than the rest in the first place, and just by pure statistics the average has to go up somehow.

It's like saying that patients that complain the most always get better in the end. They get better because they were worse in the first place. And you don't hear from those that died, as you (usually) don't hear again from those that left the game.

Another example, you flip a coin and at some point somehow you are 30% tails and 70% heads. I guarantee you that sooner or later you will have a nice tails streak to drive that average up to the expected 50/50. And it wont be because you posted on a forum about the stupid heads...

You only have to keep flipping :D

@sgp911, yeah evade is nice. PED saver :)

EDIT: (Sweet Cheesus sorry for the long post, I got carried away. So sorry.)
 
I'm going to a Casino today but if I dont win 1000$ in first 5minutes I will leave casino and unisntalll cuz my expectations of a casino its being a millonarie FAST!! :D then go mcdonals.

This has to be a trolling thread; Glob 2875 day before yesterday and kinda pissed there has not been more.

I would love to get a glob 2875 :(

No your nick is OK. Far better than some I see on the ticker with "shiit" in their name or other magnets to my ignorelist.

Wait, are you telling me that complaint threads really do work?!

I've been playing this game for five years, I've never had a 4 digit hunting loot. I need to make a thread.

I done the whole 10k atrox mission useing swords and lost about maybe 100 200 ped. Useing dehera sword with v1 amp then when i was skilled the shagadi sword. Didnt have fancy rings either just the improved ares and adjusted evade ring. Adjusted pixie armor and my trusted vi refurshed s.i heart. 3k ped min u need for cycleing on them and all. Decent evade skills are a must to make this work though. I also never had more then two a time attacking me if you have more then that you might as well drop your ped on the floor.

That must have taken you for ever but a great achievement ..
 
My worst stretch of no globs is when I started the 10k iron trox. I had a couple low globs up to 267 then not another till I hit 1224.. geez

2-3 weeks in the evening. Your be surprised how quick u can drop atrox yoing to old with those setups. But i tend to do these short sharp burst then log off for a few months as it gets boring as hell.
