The most expensive loot and the biggest loot detached from the game

What?

Do you literally just make up stuff for fun or?

I'm sorry this is the second time I caught you without words? Now you wouldn't just be trolling would you?

Anyway, you been in game long enough to know how they started it and had to make changes to keep the game going since it was to much like a Casino. And second, when I contacted SGA a few years back about the EPs that is exactly, more or less, what they told me: This game is not gambling based because, yes, because we can trade our skills between players. I was very much :scratch2: then as I am now over that humor.

TT material is not the same as ammo.
Ammo would be the same if you paid at TT terminal to have a game bot report a kill for you and instantly bringing back loot or report no loot.

So crafter buy Nano´s and instantly get the globals?

It doesn´t need to go to crafting terminal, select a BP, start the craft and wait 2-3 sec for every attempt ?

Well I do craft a lot, a 1000 clicks craft takes around 45min.
A 10k clicks craft several hours.

Why so many people in EU talk so much BS in the forums ?

Maybe because they talk about something they have never done themselves in EU.

Beside that you get skills extremly faster by hunting than by crafting, and skills have a value too.

I wish all this Explo complainers would buy 25k clicks for any of the Explo BPs, do that craft and then come back, and still complain about how unfair advantage the Explo is vs hunting.

On a bad hunt you may lose 1000-1500 PED / hour (Higher Level hunters)
On a bad explo IV craft you can lose 10k+ PED an hour, even worse if you move slider towards condition.

Yeah this Explo crafters are so evil to the game, really.

Start your brains, befor writing, please!

Well yeah, a lot has been added since the game was first released since MA is very slow at doing their job due to the man power behind the project but most of all we see today was on the planning list.

But hell if you want to bring PE up again, then remember it was released as a full casino yet had to be scaled back a lot to be allowed to stay as it is today. To fix this hole the SGA give them, MA then worked out a new crafting plan that we see today with the SGA fully supporting it due to the simply fact that this game is based on skills which we can trade between each other.

FYI: Straight from the SGA itself.

Well if Scottish Gamekeepers Association is happy that the game is not a casino, why cant you? Just go back to sweating and let others do what they want to in game.

"except walk between storage, tt and craft facility"
Can I ask you to at least read the opening post in a thread before going all in deciding I've never ever crafted in this game. I entered the game first time in december 2002. I have opinions. Disagreeing is fine. Just know what you disagree with.

Our experiences need not be the same. You might see more more people around that you interact with than you did before TT mats. You might have an easier time selling finds to other gamers now than you did before. You might be the person who finds items in the world worth 15k or feel twitch TV opening boxes is great promotion of the game. You might feel that auction or a forum post sale is quite enough interaction.

It could well be that the die-hard crafters in Entropia is not the same bracket that click up TT mats. That is a good argument. The lootbox stuff might just be a fun extra. It might also be true that much loot is sellable to crafters.

It is my opinion that TT mats and lootboxes reduce player interaction and player incentive, for hunters and miners both.

Can you please outline the exact interaction pre-explosives and strongboxes which you are missing?

I ask again, cos, y'kno... it's rude not to answer.

Finding a buyer for low MU mats is way harder and the low MU stuff from hunting and mining got well below the point where an auction fee was a viable option. That is not an effect of more people providing the mats, just fewer people buying.

Player interaction is a thing in many games. You talk and trade and see others who are out grinding and trading. The only incentive to hunt is finishing missions for bonus skills and those skills are largely unsellable and requires a very long time to monetize if it's at all possible. By *monetize* I mean circulating loot back into ammo at a markup to keep hunting.

Lotto boxes is a typical casino thing in horrible asian micropayment grinders. If you could find the boxes hunting or mining or crafting, that would be different. It does yield ammo though so some people might go out and shoot it up rather than TTing the lot.

Got my first UL item (Caly mk I Ul) on a noob mob (evi gen 1).

Wasn't hunting mulciber or smthing big, but got a 16K peds loot. A bit like opening strongboxes if i follow ur words?

Opened more than 2K strongboxes and got only 2 Aeglic Adj (worth 50 peds) ..

Your Caly mk 1 UL isn't worth 15k ped but the best rings are. I'm struggling to think of a mob or level of hunting that would consistently have a chance to loot a 15k ped value item with fantastic utility in a way to make it instantly desirable to almost anyone in the game.

First of all, slow and steady wins the race....

For the really strong and dedicated there is allmost constant events with fun prices, besides that my personal UL fun loots last few years;

BL1950

Tegretov tr6 perfected

Tango

Lc-625 gleamer

Enigma l4

And some big esis and some other fun hofs......

Its right out there, all that is needed is some effort and usually some risk

Yep! Stepping outside town, making the mmo seem populated. I salute you for it. No doubt better twitch tv than opening boxes, too :)

Crafting TT mats is zero interaction, opening boxes as well.
Having crafters buy mats meant extra incentive for miners and hunters. I've wasted weeks farming orange paint when a friend was skilling dyes. It still lost me ped, of course. Done same hoarding oil, back when it spawned less erratically.

***

It's not super important to me. Just someone mentioned an update in another game, a game which is very populated, an update that meant less people bothered popping out into the game world to show themselves at all. It was not seen as a good thing when the major selling point of that game is a huge player base.
I simply feel that a game with a smaller player base should encourage player interaction.

Game is old, I don't play a lot, it matters little.
Myself and many others still care though, after all this time!
