It's an arthropod, yes, but not an insect let alone a true bug.
 
If it's a carbine in the auction it's probably best to classify it as a carbine on entropiawiki.com.

Bukin rifle is not auctionable. Of similar looking guns, Justifiers are carbines, Azuro/Rubio are rifles - even though they are fast, have short range and called "carbines" in the description. But then, a Bukin is explicitly named a rifle... It's quite a mess.

Yeah, MA is not consistent. I guess since it's actually called "Rifle" then that's where it should go.
