Question: Does regeneration affect loot?

Simple question, probably a very complicated answer.

I remember one of my socmates wanting to do a low damage Proteron team hunt and it made me think of how much we would lose in regeneration.....Has there ever been tests for this? I've searched around PCF and found nothing.

Really?

There have been a lot of tests, but general consensus is that it doesn't affect your loot. At least that's my understanding

just creates more variance
 
And makes the whole situation a little more expensive.
 
I've tested on @300 mobs , nothing special , only 2 ubers , but I think that was a coincidence.

has that been pre2013?

regen is returned partly in loot, exactly as armor decay. key word is partly. on average you will lose more on it than you get in return but when you only do a small hunt you may end up lucky with a bigger multiplier that gets enhances by this coping mechanism.
