Well not exactly I think. Look at the answers in this thread. Loads of people started when they were young and, I suppose, didn't exactly have a lot of money. But if you make them stay for 10 years+ then eventually they might start making big money and ready to put in ten year's worth of regular deposits worth to buy a mod fap or whatever.

The whole economy of EU resides on the idea that items in-game have a market value thanks to the longevity of the game. If MA said tomorrow that they are shutting down EU for some reason then MMs and Shadow would become TT-food. So assuming MA and EU is there to stay - MA has little to loose by attracting a younger audience, even if they can't deposit for years.

lvl 54 and I don't think I will ever reach lvl 100.

I've played EU long enough to remember coins in loot.

I used to be very active mid level hunter. Life priorities such as creating a family has replaced my ability to hunt hard.

I mostly train my ever increasing collection of pets these days, and play some compet. Generally high rarity Caly and Strongbox pets. I do like the pet animations, even though it's a bit boring right now and needs more content.

Who knows I might get back into hunting at some point, when finances allow.

We're not on the planet long folks, balance your life before the years run away. If you work from 16 - 65 that's only 588 monthly pay days (to do it all)....smiles
