I started this thread in this post https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/forums/showthread.php?273519-How-To-Survive!/page31, but i would like to continue the discussion here

05-20-2017 update: the istance damage window is wrong. i recalc the totaldamage because the mob HP is 116 and not 110... so the unswer is YES ENTROPEDIA IS RIGHT or pretty close to the right stat.

See here the sweat calc of hp mob: https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/forums/showthread.php?294161-Ozpyn-Chon-stats-Is-Entropedia-right/page3

So Facts:

i entered in gold rush 1 and i was with my Ozpyn Chon + A101 amp.
After a shor run i checked the stats that istance shows us, and i calcolated the eco...

something was wrong..

so i did another 2 runs , and i killed more mobs and shooted more amno.

a forum friend already told that my sample is too low because i shooted only 300 mobs.. but pay attention what i'm looking for is not the mobs loot stats but the weapon stats, so the sample is the number of shots i did (123 amnoes every shot).

here the results, asap i'll update with number of shots... (every sample with more than 1000 case is more than enought to determine a statistic view of event with +-3% error)

Chon + A101R1R2R3
damage (from istance stats)1110434720
total mobs hp (number of mobs x110hp)23101100034540
overkill/regen0.95%0.52%
decay weapon3.5816.9252.37
amno523.8974.84
total cost8.5840.81127.21
Dmg/pec2.6922.6952.715
Return5498.75
% Return132%78%
profit/loss13.19-28.46
shots1.9426.084

My point is... i'm very far from the 2.974 dmg/pec stated by Entropedia.

I assume that what the istance summary of stats is right.

So, why i had so different stats?

Thanks all for any reply, cheers

i've just ran 2 tests on the Chon, the decay listed on Entropedia is correct.

your 2.6 eco is what i would call actual eco, taking into account regeneration and overkill. using a chon on 10 hp mob and overkilling by just 2 hp will reduce the chon eco greatly.

110 will be less noticable, but overkill mixed with a 20 second to kill speed, that could be 4 mob heals in that time

imargurg is 110 hp mobs and istance track also the effective damage that is not affected by overkill and regen

can u share the numbers?

thanks

ps, i edited the table for easier comprension

yes regen and overkill affect stats but i can simply do the total damage (that i assume from istance stats) divided by cost and it is 2.729 (in the biggest sample)

perhaps is wrong the damage showed by the istance

Chon using 10 shots
Gun in pec 1000
Fragments needed 1000
Total minus Frag 1000

After
Gun in Pec 997
Fragments needed 210
Total Minus Frag 997.79

Decay (avg over 10 shots) 0.221

Test 2

Gun in pec 997
Fragments needed 210
Total minus Frag 997.79

After
Gun in Pec 995
Fragments needed 420
Total Minus Frag 995.58

Decay (avg over 10 shots) 0.221

now i can't say your amp is correct, i don't have a A101 to check

could breeder 1 have more hp than 110? maybe changed

in a few i'll check the margurg hp..

done.. Stamina 11 so 110 hp

i think the problem could be the amp decay (that is a way bigger decay than chon) or istance stats.

i'll do a 50 ped amno run and i'll sign down both (chon and a101 decay).

oki, i just checked my eco, and in stage 2 with CDF LC-55 + A103 and Corrosive Dagger my average eco is 2.84 over 7036 kills. Highest was 2.92 and lowest 2.75 and that takes into account regen & overkill + my defensive costs too. so i calculate more than ever needed

i always get the number of kills from the exit screen, then i divide the cost by kills ie 1234.79 ped / 351 kills = 3.52/kill. i then divide hp by this (then by 100 to turn into pec)

so (1000 / 3.52) / 100 = 2.84

so exit window stats are reight

so can be wrong then the combo chon+A101 eco

just curious, how do you remove regen and overkill from your costs?

are you just comparing damage dealt to number of kills and getting a %

if so you really sure minus that % from your costs too

40.81 - .95% = 40.422 costs which gives 2.72 eco. not much but it is a little closer

ok done 100 kill = 100 x 110 = 11.000 hp.

Damage inflicted (from istance stats window) = 11.057

Overkill-mob regen: (11.057-11.000)/11.000 = 0.52%

chon decay: 4.27

A101 decay: 12.596

Amno used: 23.902

Total cost : 40.769

dmg/pec: 11.057/4076.9 = 2.712

Total shot : 23.902/123 = 1.943

Loot (i write just for courious): 42.64 p

I need to test chon alone, but this is not the right mob, i'll try another istance... smuggler one with ark daily can be the right one

to be continue ....

:) thanks Jetman for your test and help

yes i compare damage dealt with number of kills x mob hp

Man... wrote a long post with tables, accidentally pressed backspace, browser went a page back and all is gone :)

Oh well, long story short, instance data is way off. I use EntropiaRTC and EL's Combat Log, they both display similar output very close (to 2nd decimal) to Entropedia in everything, dpp, dps etc, so I'll rather believe them than the instance.

I did 2 runs, adj ep-41+imp105, 50 kills each, #1 with imp ares, #2 without

#1: instance dmg: 113415; RTC: 114390
#2: instance dmg: 114903; RTC: 115843

Iirc someone on Ark forum posted something about Magurg 1 HP being 115 not 110. Stamina 11 can, in theory, mean anything between 110 and 119.

Oleg, this can be a good point and will clear all

this evening when back home i'll sweat one... we can belive in number of bottles :D

Overall damage from dungeon status is incorrect

You are doing it bad, you cant measure "dpp" just by counting HP mob because then there's HP regen and overkill.

The easy and correct way to measure DPP its by measuring average dmg of your weapon and the cost.

Fruit test decay of the weapon 1 shoot, then you have all the info you want, average dmg & decay.

Good luck!

Hi Antrance,

Your question was actually spoken about in my thread from pages 14 - 16.

However the discussion between myself and Pk summarised it on page 16.

The peak economy one could obtain including overkill + regen was 2.8 DPP.

What you are seeing isn't the complete picture but the setup dpp is accurate.

Surya is correct in that to get 100% accurate dpp reading that's how you do it.

But it doesn't mean you're wrong either you are looking at it from a wider view.

If you need the reference it is linked here > https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/forums/showthread.php?273519-How-To-Survive!&p=3435484&viewfull=1#post3435484.

hello all

i'm back home, this evening i'll test:
the dungeon damage stats
mobs hp

thanks Surya for your reply,

in the last calc i didnt use the mobs HP, but i used the dungeon damage stats, that is the all damage i did, and it counts the regen and the overkill... as u can see it is a little more than mob hp..

now i have to check it it is true or if it is bugged.

with average damage and fruits decay calc it is not considered the miss or evaded shots

if i remember well entropedia uses 10% of evaded shot in the eco formula... perhaps evaded is more than 10%, or every avatars has his own "evaded" shots that are related to his own skills ...

cheers

CRAAAAPPPP !!!!!!

105 sweated and entropia crashed ....

to be continue....

Hello all,

i have done the sweat test ..L2 Magurg Breeder 1 has 116 HP..

so 2 things... the istance stats are wrong...total damage showed was less than damage i have done....

second i have to recalculate the eco of combo weapon+amp

well a fast calc that is not 100% right show me that eco it is around 2.863, and this doesn't consider the hp regen and everkill shots

cheers all
