I've done a reasonably large puny hunt since loot 2.0 came out. I cycled 400 ped of ammo on punies (10-20 health) and ended up with 447 ped. Didn't test gun or amp decay, but before the patch on large puny hunts I would normally get between 80-85% returns. I'm going to say based on that loot has improved a fair amount.
Thanks for this info. I'm assuming that's something like 6000 mobs @ 20 health or 8000@15, so at least a couple of days at it. Getting 110% tt return is pretty staggering on that sort of volume, even if you had 3 or 4 10 ped globals on them. Did you?
May I also ask what sort of lvl you are for things like evade, or unchipoutables like agility? Whatever MA might use to assess what sort of hunting level you 'should' be...
I recently did the entire m/f monura chain on Ark. It would have been quite nice to have had your experience .
Personally under loot 2.0 I had a good vu day when I went for atrox-ish level, but testing argonauts with the new (L) weaps has had me killing them at a lower cost than ever before, but returns lower too. I'm nowhere near statistically relevant, however, so I'll keep at it (it is nice to actually have an average tt kill cost of 1 ped for youngs now, instead of 1.04/1.05 as I used to have, but I am now paying some weap mu instead now, so we shall see...)
