the one constant in both the virtual and real worlds is change... recent changes, some previously noted here, others not so much:

Rhino Beetle takes a lot less nutrio than it used to to fully feed it, which is why mine is still fed at over 600%... I'm still not sure if Mindark is screwing me on that one since I'm unsure if it being fed over 100% impacts the xp gains or not? Support ticket basically told me they cannot reveal the answer to that perplexing question... (honestly I don't think they know...)

Pet sizes on different pets has changed over time... just a tad... some grew bigger, some smaller.

'acceleration' is no longer called acceleration - now it's called increased run speed

Leprechaun can't be exported til level 7

Probably some other changes if we look close enough...

Restocked on nutrio for a while, and several of the pets are well fed now, slowly working on upping their xp... I'll probably continue to burn off some TT value and keep feeding em for a while.

Boxer's right left combo uses a lot of energy, so I usually just spawn him and do one each log in session.... if/when oratan is high enough level to unlock passives I may keep boxer out spawned a bit more. Out of all the pets in game his is actually the funnest to watch... love the situps, and one arm push ups. Makes me want to jump out of the computer seat and start doing a few every time he does...

Just wish they'd clean up his run cycle... the way his legs and arms move when he's following my avatar running makes him look like he's doing the potty dance every time. Almost looks as clunky as the old Cyclops run cycle on the old 1990s Fox X-men...

pergola added to the Holiday Hangout's entrance... not sure it'll stay there or not, but it works for now (I love using that thing as a 'wall' to adjust different furniture instead of having to attach to a real wall... so just depends on if I need scaffolding someday... looks a bit gawdy in some regards to the other entrance decorations, but it's a bit more visually appealing than bare walls.

Soon as Xmas is over I'm more or less probably heading back to Calypso for a while... to do some crafting since materials are more accessible there than anywhere else from auction, shops, etc.

I was just going to go to cyrene to do the daily mazes, but think Calypso is where my avatar is being called next.

I'm thinking about re-starting that bizzare idea about crafting one of of everything I got a bp for, at least as far as armor, weapons, etc. goes... what better time to do it than when there's a crafting event going on?... we'll see... checking inventory now to figure out which damn planet I left the stuff already crafted on.

I've only got 3779 items listed in my items page, and apartments on 3 different planets, and junk in storage on even more planets than that, no problem keeping track of what's where.

ok... there it is.. in storage on hunt the thing, lol... knew I was on the right planet, just the wrong freaking continent... glad it's here and not over on ark underground where I thought it was. Doesn't help that I'm heavy again carrying all the furniture and boxes.

sadly, it may be time to start feeding some low level pets to the stables for extraction of essence... but maybe not... we'lll see....

currently sort of sorting inventory in the apartments and storage on Roctktropia.... I'll be putting most of the pets in the apartment for a while to focus solely on skilling up just a small handful of the multi buff pets. Wanting to eventually get one pet for each pet type in the Zoo for display and one pet of each pet type to skill up when his brother is sitting in the apartment, but cannot really afford to do that for all pets since some are so darn rare, etc.... so we'll see what happens. Some of the rares may sit in the Zoo apartment a while. The lower level critters may go to the stable to turn in the essence or go downstairs again in the thing to sit in storage a while. (but maybe not... after all pets aren't lootable in space like animal essence is...)

move along... nothing to read here... just copied the Zoo's list here in to this post for some editing and to do a bit of a check list for myself of what critter is where since I'm sorting inventory currently.... It gets a bit confusing when you have thousands of pets that all look alike as to figuring out which box or apartment they are sitting in. Going to try to keep multi buff and rare pets on my avatar to skill up as I travel to different planets, at least til they get to level 7 so they can be spawned on any planet (if they can be spawned on any planet - some of them are planet specific and are not exportable)....

Also, depending on costs, etc. I may buy some new pets to add to the zoo... seems some of the robot pets have dropped in prices in recent months.

For lower level pets I may have anywhere from 1-1000 in storage at any given point in time if you want to buy a pet...(pm here or in game if interested in a batch of pets since a lot of the lower level pets get fed to the stable to be converted over as soon each hunt is done so that my storage doesn't continually overflow max.)

House of the Used up L items is in the Holiday Hangout (same room as the Easter and Valentines stuff) til more holiday items are acquired to use up those item slots in the next few decades... (sort of a reminder to myself to stop using crappy L shit so much and start utilizing funds better on UL stuff, even if it does cost a bit more)

Several other minor tweaks in the Holiday Hangout's decor took place tonight as well... still not exactly as I want it, but a little closer...

Also sorting out things so that some of the pets I have multiples of can find temporary homes on the other planet's apartments (Calypso and Arkadia) til more homes can be purchased for their brethren on Next Island, Cyrene, Toulan, etc.

The crafted 'one of everything' stuff will likely go to Calypso storage or Calypso Apartment for a while so that I can keep better track of what I have crafted and still need to craft one of each thing of as crafting will likely be done on Calypso for that if I do continue it since resources are more available there due to supply/demand type issues (although I wish I could do it on Monria instead for the daily mission there... since fees to move between planets has dropped, I may start travelling between Monria and Calypso more for that mission if I do start doing this but am not sure if the decay fee on thruster to do that would make it worthwhile or not?)

I have established a monthly deposit budget for the next little while... so I'm going to be able to do some things I haven't done for a few months in a month or three... and later...

In the Holiday Hangoung, if anyone does visit and gets stuck in the apartment simply hit T to teleport back down to revive outside of the building. Hanging the stars out front, one of them is a bit too close to the door, so it can catch you when you try to exit from time to time... not always, just part of the time... I may try to do away with that one, but need it there right now to visually balance the other side. (which RT devs had made hallways just a tad wider so that left and right side of doors inside were equadistance...

sorry about all the do not trust posters... I'll eventually change some of them out with other posters or paintings, etc. as I acquire more in the future. They are mainly there now just to break up the visuals on the walls to make it more visually balanced and less boring as bare walls in Entropia are just plain boring.

nah... stay on Rocktropia for now and do the daily bar mission at New Harlem, at least until the crafting event is over... craft up some explosives, blow the heck out of the trolls, and just repeat and over and over at least til then... then perhaps a trip to Cyrene or Calypso... may up level on the panther to level 7, but maybe not since RT is my home where the apartments are, so I can work on his levels later... of course, I don't want to go to cyrene til vlad's lootability gets fixed... which is not high on cyrene's priority list I guess? so...

rocktropia for now... maybe calypso later this year... calypso proper, not just monria... perhaps secret island or next island eventually... toulan at some point in distant future.

forgot how boring New Harlem is... but still going to stay put for now since this is the easiest place I've found in game to actually use crafted explosives (even if the return on investment is crap)... Did the bar mission 3 times tonight... takes about 5 minutes or less to kill 20 thugs, so no biggie... not sure if I'll continue that or not since rocktropia gold coins have limited amount of usefulness...but that mission breaks up the boredom from doing the bar instance mission over and over... typically run around the gas station and the thing oil rig for a few pecs of oil to break up the boredom too from time to time... definitely not as fun as getting a bunch of wolpertingers build up in inventory, but at least this way I don't have to keep staring at the exploiters over in the cyrene maze that are auto tooling their way up in skill levels without moving their avatar one step in any direction... and don't have to keep dealing with that blasted non-loot giving vlad in there...

I will get back to regular missions and higher level stuff eventually, but for now, this is a nice little way to craft a few things, and use those crafted things... at least until I can afford to start crafting more things... looted a new rt blueprint I didn't have before today so off to a decent start. (also looting tons of welding wire blueprints - forgot how many of those blasted things you end up with if you craft a lot... )

Oratan Axe and Boxer are slowly upping their levels... as are a few other pets. Figure I'm in this for the long haul so may as well feed most of the pets that I plan to keep.

Also thinking about getting back in to mining since that's one area of the game I haven't explored too deeply... on non-Calypso planets that is a bit easier I think since all the good spots are depleted when you get there 100% of the time.

one nice thing about crafting on Rocktropia is that the terminals are all so close together you can search auctions, repair, etc. all while crafting away...

back to Secret Island for a bit...

(very interesting finding... at least for this event, it seems it's possible to loot level 4 bps from a level 1 bp click... always thought level 3 was max from level 1 but I guess I was wrong... )

(also noticing that on Secret Island (Next Island too probably) Basic Vehicle Servo BP (L) Drops more than Welding Wire (L) BP does on Rocktropia... Markup on Basic Servo BP (L) seems to be a bit higher than Welding Wire (L) BP... at least for now...

Before graduation when I was clicking away on Touland, I remember lots of Welding wire bps dropping... wonder what happens in Ark Underground, Hell, Ark Moon, etc.? Got a sneaky suspicion that what drops more frequently is based on when Mindark last did adjustments on the planet in question... and that this crafting event is something to test the waters and do further adjustments?...


Probably will stay on Secret Island a while, at least until one of the gorillas gets to level 7.

Now look what you've done Mindark, you got me wasting more peds on L books to store all these L bps.

Pets are fed...

Pygmy Kong and Island Gorilla, as well as well as Oratan Axe and Boxer, and a few other pets have all been fully fed recently, and are dancing away the night in Club Neverdie on Secret Island... Pygmy Kong is about half way up Level 3.

I was going to save back some ped from last global but have changed my mind so the explosive crafting continues in to the new year... at least for a while. Got an entire book and a half of useless time crystal blueprints so far, and more coming in to existence hourly. Hopefully new uses for the crystals will be created someday...

I probably should be doing this crafting on another planet, but like the variety of L blueprints it's getting me vs welding wire only that I was seeing as a trend on Rocktropia. Back before graduation I spent several days crafting on Toulan. May go back there someday, but we'll see. If plans don't change, I think I may try to spend each month's deposits mainly crafting on a different planet throughout 2019 to see what happens, and slowly expand my blueprint collection beyond where it is now. I am looting a bunch of component dupes from levels I-4 if someone is interested in doing some trades one of these days. Not too interested in ped only trades, just trading my duplicates for some blueprints I haven't acquired yet to fill in the gaps. I may make a listing of the duplicates one of these days.

If I had the dedication or time to waste I'd try to tame a Mountain Gorilla. I think if theories and a few personal tests are correct, it should be easy to do if you have unlimited amounts of time on hand and don't mind climbing up and down a mountain to drown em if you don't have the peds to actually kill your way through however many it takes to spawn the tameable one... but it'll cost you a little to do it since you'd have to tag em to do the drowning bit as sweating them puts you too close to em when you get em nice and mad enough to chase you. Also wouldn't hurt to have a speed buff on you if you do it.

Doing the little bit of crafting I've been doing the last few days got me starting to think about the old one of everything idea/quest whatever it is... So edited Weapons I post over there in the other thread... will probably edit other books too over time....

I am going to probably deposit more going forward in to 2019 than I did in 2018, or at least more consistently monthly amounts... instead of sporadic a bunch here, nothing there, a little there that I did last year... so am trying to figure out new goals I can afford, long term projects to continue working on, etc. I will start to do more of the one of everything crafting over time, but for the present time, at least in January, I'm staying on Secret Island to increase level of pets I have from there up to an exportable level (Level 7). Pygmy Kong is almost half way there... Island Gorilla has a while to go. Wish I had a mountain gorilla, but don't currently... ah well...

After this I'm not sure if I'll head to the different planets to try crafting or go back to hunting, or just head to Calypso to pick up resources to craft with, finish missions over there I started long ago, etc.?... (over time, as I've explored new planets, I find Calypso boring as hell, so don't stay there too often usually these days, even though I have an apartment over there)...

If I do get back to the crafting one of everything, I'm going to not offer the original deal, but set up some new ones potentially... perhaps do a rental program for the Unlimited items, requiring that full tt be drained to minimum before they can be returned or something like that... most of the old school items that are unlimited are not really used by many since newer L stuff, etc. exists, but there's something kind of nice about old school UL items... maybe it's just nostalgia... or remembering simpler days, when this game was new, and potential seemed to be everywhere...

Increasing pet levels while auto crafting seems to be some good advice a leader in my society recently suggested in a roundabout way... ;)

I am cycling the crafting at the moment, TTing the crafted explosives, residue, etc. ... explosive I crafting is not a long term profitable way to go about doing things, but it does give you max number of clicks for minimum costs... which is why I'm doing it through this event for now. After the crafting event is over, assuming another one doesn't follow immediately afterwards, I'll probably start stockpiling crafted explosives to use to up my grenade levels or to save up a bit til I can afford to re-purchase a shopkeeper for the apartments... My blueprint collection and dupes is growing as I continue forward in this...I don't move around from planet to planet daily, but do every now and then. If you are a low level crafter looking for some bps, I may have something to trade you... Would prefer to get bps that I don't have already in exchange, but as my bp collection grows, I know that' snot always feasible...

Back on Rocktropia for a while since crafting on Secret Island is getting boring as I'm getting way too many of the same duplicate blueprints over and over... At least on RT I may loot some Rocktropia component blueprints I still don't have yet... May return to Secret Island after I get a Mountain Gorilla (or perhaps not? We'll see)

soon I may start up a blueprint trading or selling service again before long...

Gotta love it when Narfi starts calling in the troops.

If I ever get to the point where I start doing Kong more often, since you know, my main estates are on Rocktropia, I'd probably buy bigger armor, a heal chip, and possibly burn some h-dna to get a few more pop shots in.
