To anyone it may concern,

Starting tomorrow and until October 1st I will be out of town, without Internet access, so if you're sending me any messages and not replying, don't think that I'm ignoring you or anything, but I'm just busy enjoying real life. :)

Wish you all (well, not really all - lol) an amazing summer and see ya on October 2nd! :)

I really hate to get involved in this but here goes.

I think this person may have azbierger syndrome. I think i spelled that wrong,but anyway my son was diagnosed with it and its hard for some people to deal with a person that has it. Its basically like this. The person is very smart but that gets them into situations like this very often. Their brain has no social filter so they find nothing wrong with what they say or why they shouldn't say it. They also cant handle when someone does not agree with their way of thinking and they always have to be right. Its kinda of like a mild form of autism but the main symptom is the person becomes fixated on one thing and obsessed with it until they find something else to occupy their brain. Im not making excuses for the person or trying to armchair diagnose them just offering a different perspective. Anyway carry on.

I agree with what you are saying. However with life experience and help from knowledgable people you can learn to act less extreme. You can learn to fit in society a little bit more and not making an enemy out of 99% of the people you interact with. If DOA is really 17 years young she has a long way to go to train herself and learn from life experiences. But you have to be willing to learn and train yourself. So far she hasn;t shown any willingness, might be her age. I am not saying it is a fix, certainly not. But for the person her/himself life can go a bit smoother. Autistic people are also known not to be able to lie and are often very straight forward. Which will come across as rude and sometimes hostile, but they don;t mean to. Again you can learn ways around that, not for all situations, but common ones. Like if someone has a new dress, do not say It is ugly, say it suits you. See the difference? Less hostility. And yes I know what I am talking about I don;t really talk about it but I got autism (why do you think I like healing??) and high IQ myself. And damn me for taking an effort every day. I really don;t like her behaviour on this forum and I hope the people that know me on forum and ingame, don;t look at me like a DOA but that they can see not all people with autism and high iq are like her. :mad:

(and yes I still get into trouble I am no jesus :p)

Exactly. I was going to keep going to say that as my son gets older and has more life experiences the symptoms become less and the condition is more manageable, at least thats what the doctor said. I just felt I should share the information because the person claims to be an adolescent and the condition is more dominant in younger individuals. But then again my post would have been to long.

Well yeah. Autism (like any other condition) has its characteristics, but it also doesn't (and shouldn't) define a person.

Everyone who visits a bar likes to drink, but not everyone who visits a bar likes to fight. DoA/Scarface is just autism's equivalent of the bar guy who walks around saying "You got a fuckin problem?".

But some people come across as harassing bullying DoA in this topic.
I'm not saying that she's easy to get along with.
But with the opening salvos, I mean the replies in this topic, it wouldn't surprise me if DoA can now file a complaint with MA about being harrassed and bullied and that's affecting her enjoyment and quality of her gameplay...
Just a thought.

Well she isn't playing for two months, so i would doubt that would happen....

Didn't we have a most famous entropia players thread on this forum somewhere.
The way even her vacation thread is going, she is bound to get on it soon :)
