Lag loses you peds

In mining at least.

The past lag weeks, my mining find rate has been noticeably lower.

This translates into lower returns. Period.

I didn't change anything.

MA didn't change anything, except induce lag.


Find rate before lag : 31%
Find rate after lag: 28%
TT return before lag:> 102%
TT return after lag :<95%
Not coincidence.

While "3%" find rate might not seem like much to the noob eye, that's actually 90% of my original finds.


Fix lag.

At least ore price will rise, I guess :dunno:

It has nothing to do with the lag, your average TT return is SUPPOSED to be <100%.
I`m actually amazed that a player with your intellingence and your experience can expect TT>100% for ever.
Do you really expect MA to pay you / or all of us to play this game???

Incredible. Period.
 
i just stopped my mining run got fed up with being rubber banded back and dropping probes where I had already been .

Lag is far from fixed! No msgs were going through then massive lag spikes while i was attempting to do my first hunt today. I gave up and the lag was so bad that the Esc exit entropia wasn't working so task master ended it.

Guess i will work and make money instead of playing. I love this game but it's not playable and it's way past getting old. Can't even cycle ped.

The reason it would effect mining is cause the lag is in the loot server. You drop probe loot server is messed up and trying to give you loot. The lag is effecting anything that involves loot.

Birds overpopulation in few years confirmed.
 
These numbers have been proven by a professional mathematician. There is nothing to dispute here guys
 
Complaints about 95% tt when mining....ok. so please share full stats on how you arrived at 95% and 102%
 
In hunting before lag, near 85-90%TT, after lag only 70%
 
I am not convinced such variance can be attributed fully to lag, but some effects exists for sure. When more than 50% of the survey attempts are lagged is normal to feel frustrated when things seem to go down.

One attempt double or triple drop amped can cost anything from 3 ped up and more likely 6 to 15. Lag simply makes one very reluctant to pursue high turnover when you risk easy losing 50 to 100 ped per day simply to lag from "probe dropped too early" or "finder dropping because of delayed command".

Yes sure I can mine unamped enmatter but I am somehow believing MA would rather prefer high turnover.

maybe the correct title should have been:

"Lag loses you peds even faster"

or

"MA has found new ways to take your PED"

Lag is a new feature in the game

Making hunting far more exciting!
Will I be able to heal in time before this puny kills me?

Lag makes the use of finishers obsolete.
In the time you finisher has been equiped the mob is fully regenerated.
So no use anymore to switch to a finisher.

yes, thats the point.

Since all is strange now, R2D2 now starts to feel comfortable and at home.

I saved ~$1M USD a year for my agency with basic maths. Sadly no one had ever done it before me.

Nope. Usual deserted spots on Ark. TT return, no probs with that. Find rate? Huge problem.
 
After enduring this lag through the Aurli iron, I came back to Caly and did some mining. Mining is completely unaffected for me. I'm still lagging all over when hunting but mining has been smooth sailing.

I can barely use auction or storage on on Ark. :cdevil::cry:
 
please give me more lag!

I just managed to play pretty well...lag wise.
To bad the system just cancelled all multipliers and rewards me with only 25~50% looters.

So please give me more lag so it gets totally unplayable. That will save me shitloads of peds and frustration!

I'm done with this b#llsh!t! :mad::mad::mad:

Sure other mobs that cause armor and fap decay will reduce the return
