Hunting has not been very kind lately to us low-level small-fry players.

Although base l00t seems to have been upped by even 10 %, the multipliers needed for sustained hunting are quite hard to come by, at least when having a go above the n00b mob category.

So, will take 100 PED and throw it into the game, checking out, how far and where to it takes me.
Will yell at MA afterwards.

I am soooooooo mad right now.
Got a Ruby Devil taken right from under me. Had spent about 75 minutes and about 15 PEDs on that mob to get it on the verge of being able to tame it... when out of nowhere arrived that f*cking Russ ian bast*rd and just took it away.
He spent maybe 1 PED and went off with a 29 PED global.
For those who are not familiar with the procedure––taming takes a lot of time... you have to let the mob regen again and again, otherwise you′d outright kill it. You therefore have to put in multiple of its normal killing cost, however, you′ll usually not only get that vast amount back, you also can hope for a nice mult. Neither a 50 % damage rule nor a 50 % total damage rule applying here unfortunately, ppl can just steal mobs ready to be tamed from right under your whip.
Yea I know the name of that guy, he always lurks around there. Vanished afterwards in a jiffy.
Btw the Ruby Devil is just an L9 mob... imagine to tame higher ones like L30 Hogglo piglets. It would′ve been my first tamed Ruby, dammit, and if successful I′d had offered it to a friend in-game, not sold it. (You should be careful when giving pets as a gift, though. They. Eat. A. Lot. )
Regarding the log, that put quite a dent in my PEDCard obviously, which I have nothing to show for at all. Ofc one never knows what l00t oneself would′ve gotten... with that 29 PED glob the PEDCard would now show 95 PED.

that's really sad to heard... I would like to know the name of that guy to be honest, so I can avoid trading with him in future.

As far as I'm aware, kill stealing like that in such an intentional manner would fall directly under the terms of use. I'd very much recommend reporting them - though without direct evidence it might not accomplish anything.

If you have a relatively modern Nvidia card it's incredibly easy to set it up to capture the last "x" amount of minutes without impacting your performance in the least. I think it's possible on AMD cards as well but I'm not familliar at all with it.

MA have said there were no personal l00tp00ls, however they can give us return percentages of specific player groups, therefore there must be some kind of mechanism in place.

didnt knew about the taming/damage thing...thats not an easy one

only solution would be like..."when a player hits a mob with a whip, the mob becomes locked only for this ava" and cannot be shhooted /dragged etc from another player

but this would be only from a programming thing...sadly the ppl are the same :-(

Hmmmm....with some basic calculation, it seems that your "initial" 100 PEDs have bought you about 8.5 hours of gameplay.

So, (100 - 11.03) PEDs = 88.97 PEDs loss for 8.5 hours of gameplay.

Therefore, each hour of gameplay cost you 10.467 PEDs (or roughly 1 USD).

Would phrasing it this way be appropriate? Just asking...

I would concur.
Bearing in mind though that taming the rares prolongs gameplay through considerable periods of idly waiting.
Anyways... runs are not over yet. Will squeeze a bit more gameplay out of that PEDcard. When running low on PEDs I tend to run around more and choose the mobs I′m engaging instead of just firing/hacking/slashing/whipping merrily away...

They should make that place PVP, so we can shoot such bad ppl. Or better make the mob untouchable for others, once it get in taming process, so noone other can kill it.
