If you compare with the current alternatives (other autoloot pets) and consider how much those cost, the lvl 1 Mountain Gorilla is a good deal at around 700 ped, but of course, one would have to travel to Secret Island to level him to lvl 7.

If you level him yourself to level 7, you could get closer to 1k ped for him, which I would consider to be a fair deal for someone that is in the market for an autoloot pet, which is still cheaper than other autoloot pets.
