if you only wanna participate and not going full speed/engagement for winning then i wouldnt chip out imo...
also you have to chip out quite some...because when you hunt ,you gain hp again and you could fall then within into the next higher category...
but if you really insist on it..since entropiawiki is down (they have a marvellous skill calculator)...you can chip out things that contribute to hp like ...commando (if you unlocked it),courage,martial arts (i think)..

If I remember correctly you gain 1 hp per 480 points of courage. Might be the fastest way to lower your HP. Also Bravado and Martial arts skills were on the recent patch so those might help you out too.

Courage is 320 points per HP but why would one chip out a skill that contributes to defense professions?
The first candidates are:
* Drilling - 1600 points/HP - not really useful for anything (Mining, on the other hand, contributes to Tier Upgrader);
* Coolness - 400 points/HP - if you have enough leeway in your Hit profession(s), this might be the cheapest way.
Unfortunately entropiawiki is still down and so is chip tt calculator.

Change your chip prices, and the calculator defaults to your values.

You can do this manually:
- Fill in your HP-skills (or the ones you are thinking of chipping)
- Go to the "Chip prices tab, and set Empty to 555, and all the skills you want to chip out to 1111
- Go back to Professions tab, and use tool normally.
