Why this solo Mayhem is just a joke!!!

Making L items tier even faster would be one solution. Right now you need one with 1.5k+ tiers and none under 1k to have a chance of getting a weapon that will last just one run.

Not sure how you imagined I had invested emotion into that response; it was a simple statement.

Games of chance =/= games of skill. Again you use 'complaint' to attempt and take away from valid opinions people have. Comparing this event to a casino is a fallacy of false equivalence.

Why should a UL weapon win events just because a player came to an arrangement with a buyer, had the money to tier it up and then run the event 10-20 times to achieve the best RNG spawn formation - when one of those L buyers, who spends 500% MU only gets 2 chances?

This does the following:

1) Allows crafters to actually make a substantial profit crafting guns - no longer are all crafted guns created equal
2) Allows players who do not have the ability to purchase a $3000 weapon to compete
3) Allows those same players to compete against players who simply have the ability to borrow such gears

One problem is it becomes a competition about who can snag those extreme high TIR weapons, which means people who can camp the auction all day every day win. That's not what the competition should be about.

I get it, though that's just another area you'd have to pay attention to if you want to do the best. The best UL weapon I am maxed on is a K7 UL.....with 202 HP, I am expected to compete with that? (Edit: Realize I am also maxed on CDF600, but am I supposed to depo $2500 to compete with a weapon that's not as strong as 2 other L's that I would be?)

I started the comp at 3% maxed on M83 L. I knew the only options to place were this:

1) Find an uber TIR M83
2) Find an uber TIR Lc-300 CDF
3***) MAX THESE WEAPONS BEFORE 1/15!

I immediately started buying M83 L's, funding some hunters MU pretty well. After going through many, I happenstance found one around Dec 26th with mild-uber TIR which I knew would give me SOME chance.

Through an insane amount of grinding I went from 72/65 on 12/15 > 75/69.78 on 01/14 and was able to get 6th with a Mod Neuro/Deva15/M83 L T7 (hit T8 with 9 shots left ). With all the sweat and blood I put into that month, I feel like this was worth it to me. I'd love to be top 3, but that didn't happen. Maybe next time
