I've been saying this for over a decade now; but I still feel that loot is worse during events.
Now with the mayhem being over; loot seem suddenly much better.
Now I don't have extensive research; but I have actually tracked it a bit over the years and I always reach the same conclusion: TT return is worse and number of items is much less.

Or there people noticing the same? Is your loot suddenly better now than it was a couple days ago?

No.

In many cases, it might be more towards 'condition' though. Seen that 1264 PED Weak Paneleon on Friday night?

Correct
Event loot is always on condition mode but TT return overall prolly same.

actually, I believe loot is 'better' during events, especially if you are hunting outside of the event. Folks say that the event loot doesn't affect the other loot pools, but I think it really does by adding to the overall as incoming system peds is increased during the events, allowing the 'progressive jackpots' to pay out better overall. Now, how mining is affected, no clue...

You may be right about the 'condition' part i.e. overall return may swing a bit more, but when it pays out it does pay out nicely usually. Just make sure to get enough kills in to make it count.

no
just people having stupid high expectation lead them to believe this.
Watch their reaction when they kill sandking, purifier , husk etc etc. They think if they mob is having huge hp their reward should be accordingly, so stupid.
Look is working the same on any planet, any mob, any event unless it is taxed is what I believe.
People with stupid ideas don't have the necessary tools to measure such claims and its easier to label and point out hence your claim and your friends and friends or their friends find it easier to understand that rather than hunt millions of peds on their own for personal experience.

I rarely miss an event however now days whilst I still participate every day I don't compete to win.

I see no different in events to everyday hunting.

Basically if you play to your skill level with equipment suited to that level and hunt sensibility you will see no different in loot in or out of events.

I see 'Casino' mentioned in quite a few posts. So like Casinos there are always a few big winners while the rest of the 'gamblers' have to battle it out for the balance available.

The sensible ones do ok and have a good time. The not so sensible supply the means to pay the few jackpot winners and so on.

Bless those with the oversize guns and amps etc:)

I agree with this but in a less condescending manner lol

Loot is dynamic - while it may be the best of day of one persons life as far as loot goes it could also be a day of catastrophic loss for another at the same moment.

Personally, I feel that loot can seem a bit better during events but I think this is just caused by there generally being more turnover happening. More money going in means more money coming out.

I think part of the perception of "loot being better after events" is simply because of the diversity in mob HoFs afterwards. I mean, during events it seems like the only things hoffing are event mobs so it gives the illusion that loot isn't necessarily that good and nothing else is globalling.

Mob loots across all planets are controlled by a general server(s). As far as my understanding, it matters very little little what you're actually hunting but moreover when you are actually looting them (to determine multiplier). The cost per kill only affects the value of the loot and not your chances of getting a big multiplier. IE killing a single kerb young has the exact same odds of hitting a 300x multiplier as killing a single sand king.

Of course the results of hitting that same 300x multiplier appear very different for each. A kerb young with 300x multiplier will get you like 180 ped where as a 300x on a sand king will hit 200k+ ped.

On a side note I honestly think they cap the multipliers on big mobs to prevent the 1 in a billion chance of a sand king hitting a 10,000x multiplier and MA having to pay out $2,000,000 USD to players in an instant. lol
