Suggestion: UL weapons

why not make a quest chain that allows you to obtain a grinder weapon that is UL and thats is worse in dps than your "standard" weapons so they cant compete in events but to allow players to have a grinder weapon at all times. Lets do it like the adj resto chip and so on?

Yeah, let's eliminate (L) entirely...great idea!

Would that not make more than 50% of the (L) weapons obsolete? With predictable complaints as results? (also, there is a mission on Cyrene for a rifle or pistol as reward.)

Good, idea.
Finally we got Ark Series L guns that sell, and now you want to kill that option for crafters again

Dunno what you mean with grinder weapon, since it also depends on player,lvl,budget etc...

but some ppl already grind with UL Bukin,Adj ep-41 Military,Adjusted Maddox 4,and the UL adj sword ... all are from a mission, shorter than Adj resto ofc....but the summary is same....get materials...trade in....etc

NGL grenade launcher came from the technician originally... Honestly, not sure more UL grenade launchers are a good idea since grenade launchers are really only good for aggravating hunters around you by making mobs go aggro in masses... only real use I've found for NGL grenade launcher is low level solo instances, where you aren't irritating others. Anywhere outside of the instances and it just pisses other folks off in the area since you are 'hogging' the mobs, or foolishly increasing your costs and time by making a lot of the mob around you go uncreachable as they fumble on one another to get to you and make themselves unreachable since they all can't reach you in the circle around you.

Wish Mindark could make those mobs hit with grenades not go unreachable, and instead make them not run in to one another and just still hit you by shrinking their hit box when hit or something?

If they do make grenade launcher UL that's easier to get, either via a terminal, npc trader, or some mission, hopefully they'll alter the explosive projectile crafting issue by making explosives similar to Universal ammo, in that you can't tt it, but have to use it in the weapon first.

(The adj pistols you refer to are only upgrades, you already need the ul pistol to start with, afaik.)
What "UL adj sword" is that (and/or from what mission)?

Adjusted Katsuichi Determination. Similar stats to Shagadi desintegration sword (2 dps more for kats, but less eco)
