I am currently using the ZTE axon 7, which only costs 299 euros atm in Europe.

I was thinking something like this bad boy...

I'd suggest using old phone after u upgrade to a new one. No need to pay for completly new devices (also if it's not actually connected to a real phone number other than for 911, was required by law, less chance that if the app gets hacked you'll get hacked... may be better to use a wifi only device that you only turn wifi on to use the app then turn it off so even less hack chances?)

Lenovo K6 ... nothing can brake this phone even a 1000 degreece knife challenge
Its about 150$ or so

I have asus zenfone 2, but i still use my gold card, and i dont like the idea they dont wanna support this physical gold card.

Long time ago mindark was ahead of its time, when other services didnt have 2FA security

First used the pocket app on my htcone S. But after 5 years replaced that phone for a sony z5 compact.
And if some don't want it to use as a phone, this device makes even better pics than my camera!
:wtg:

Iphone 4s, couse I'm a cheapass & don't replace it untill it stops working :yay:

all this talk about being hacked because of the new security system...

come on think about it for a moment

how does some one connect your app with your account?

even if they did, then they just need your login details on top of that.

MA wouldn't have changed to this system unless it is completely safe.

If you are still wearing a damn tinfoil hat and afraid of having your phone hacked...

just don't connect it a network.

Entropia pocket app doesnt require an internet connection for the authentication. Just like your gold card didn't need to.

Oh and listen to this!

I have not been hacked even once since i started using the pocket app instead of gold card... and you can never guess the next part: it's the phone I use on networks, public networks, home networks, work, when walking the dogs, when surfing for porn in the night before bedtime.

Think about it again. No, not the porn bit... Think about the app not requiring an internet connection to be used... means it doesn't transfer any data, it doesn't use internet connections (for authentication, push notifications is a different story)

Don't you think it is in ANY WAY encrypted if it were to be transfered between servers though?

Get a phone with appsupport.. install the app, move on with your lives...

Awaiting the "I've been hacked and it is MA's fault because they made me use the new app authenticator" fake story.

main problem smart users seems can get

GC does not give anythig else than 6 digid code
and you can get it from mine cold hands....
Gold card does NOT
gather data to be sended to 3rd partys

while smart stuff gives everything to anyone from everywhere just push few propper buttons

you dont need to be hacked for all your PERSONAL data got stolen and sold
cause you allowed for app to do whatever whit your device

what will i use still duno

if smartphone then i will stay at catepillar as catB25 standart non system cellphone i got works flawlesly
so probably catS30

tablet:scratch2: ehmmm mine laptop is 7"and tablets are 7" too
realy dont want to buy same size and allmost same weight device just to log in

and if there is any other type of device that will run that app safer , lets hope i find it before september ends

It will be a device that will be permanently taken offline after installing the application.

(Not that there's such thing as security through obscurity, just that details are irrelevant.)

Many use various passwords managers that synchronize across devices. Some log in to EU website from mobile browser. And if you use an android phone and have the Virtual Tycoon installed, now you have all the eggs in one basket. All these problems are easily addressable, but too many just don't give it thought.

Should also be placed in a special vault that you can only open with a Gold Card
