Clothing Crafting Bug?

Hey all. I have just recently started to Color clothing, and I have colored a few pieces. not many actually take because I an a noob at it, but when I color something, it does its thing. When I look at the properties or info of that item it says that is able to be colored. Even though it already has. Is this a bug or is it bcause the clothing can be colored more than once, or what?

I have a bleacher. So I can change any mistakes I make. Just curious..

There are items that can be colored, and items that can not.

a. items that can be colored
- if uncolored, you can apply paint right away;
- if already colored, you first bleach it to go to "uncolored" status, then apply new paint.

b. items that cannot be colored
- they cannot be bleached and/or colored.

that just means that it can be colored, its not saying if it is colored, or not colored.
