Suggestion: Space Ball Sacks - Rant

Space was designed as a boarder to separate planet economies, with the intention of having each planet have it's own economy. Piracy/random killing for loot was enabled to enforce this boundary by offering incentive to pvp'ers wanting to kill people spawning at, then leaving space stations. The whole point of this was to keep players from moving lootables between planets to keep market values of planet specific goods higher on other planets.

In addition, MA has since done a 180 on this. They removed critical "universal" materials from planet partner's planets and added the auction transport feature. The pirate system remains because SQUIRREL HEY LOOK CRYPTO WAS POPULAR LAST YEAR.

Space and the planet partner system is a cobbled together mess and in general a major drag on the game. Fear not though, we are getting a new camera system that is sure to fix it all :wise:

It's cute how they leave the MV data linked up so planets where stuff is hard to get pushes up prices on caly, though.
