We are currently having issues with chat messages containing text that triggers a gesture, using a gesture trigger will make the message not appear in chat.
These triggers include smilies such as :), :p, :D and lol.
This is being investigated further and by our Dev team and we do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause participants at this time.

It's almost a contest each VU to see if there will be a greater number of features or a greater number of new bugs.
 
I thought they were trying to improve our use of language and stop us communicating in emotes
