Crafting Mania

120-200k right out the window does suck. It's three times worse than the enigma screwup.

Even so, players who leeched peds many many times this amount by exploiting bugs on purpose, in the past, have gotten away with it. I don't see that mentioned often in the forums, except a few pages from the buff scam charade in loot 1.0. There are players bragging about pulling tens of thousand $$$ out of the game - that has to come from ingame trading or exploitation of bugs or both. MA doesn't look into these cases much imho. Or how some players control several avatars. I'd rather have MA hit low life exploiters and cheaters hard than punishing a player who got a nice bp from support.

I'm gonna craft EP1 and try to fine me a 0.03 bp as well. MA can compensate for the 100 qr bp by giving out less .03 bps. I guess they will. I'm gonna try anyway :D

Merry christmas :wtg:

Common, fuck this reaction!!

Roll it back you fools!!

You say it's not our money, but for sure it is.

We will indirectly pay for this, either by crap loot or reduced cld income.

The lost money doesn't simply fall out of the sky!!

You bunch of stupid spineless fools!!!

return is <100% , they get it back over time, even if they don't cut loot or CLD income...

... they get it back over time,...

That's another area where I don't understand MA - their inefficiencies towards the players trying to turnover peds. Someone earlier said that turnover using this whip is something like 25 peds an hour at best, I think. That is slowing pretty much anybody down, even noobs!
It's like having a casino with the toilets on the other side of the parking lot - so much time spent 'not spending' if you go for a pee. And each whip is what, 80 hours of slow-play to get the tt down to a point where most people will be using and repairing the whip - i.e. below 100 peds?

edit: ok, it's 'playing' responsibly with your peds, but I wish you could set a crafting speed if you want to instead of just qual/cond. People would use it on events for sure....

Yes, so indirectly we WILL pay for it.

Well, not from my money.

Screw this, I'll take out my cash as this was the drop that made me lose my last bit of faith I had in these bunch of fuck ups!

Better take it out now before they have given it all away!

that's the BP in Wiki? 22 PED per click? each click boosted by times 100? Then i'd certainly wouldn't bother trying to sell, just straight into tt ^^

We should start a betting game on all these people who are supposedly rage quitting as to whether or not they will still be here complaining about the next cock-up.

something else that's interesting about it is since the tt is so high, the minimum percentage to repair it is higher than other whips... so slow burn tt that ends up costing more for each click in a round about way... at least they did make it so that items can go down to 3% unlike the 50% they used to have (not sure if this whip is too old to be affected by that rule change though or if it was always 3%)

Only real way I think it could be somewhat useful is if there is created timed taming missions and events eventually, etc. so use repair terminal needs to be lowered or something... maybe some sort of taming event where most number of tames in an certain window of time has to be done or something?

The first reward blueprint for this event was mistakenly spawned at full value (100 clicks) instead of the intended 0.03 PED value (3 clicks). Future reward blueprints will be spawned with the correct value.

The loot obtained by the lucky recipient of the first reward blueprint will not adversely affect the overall manufacturing loot pool, nor loot returns for individuals who receive future reward blueprints in this event.

Congratulations to Eternal sark Newbie for his combined loot of 112 201 PED from the first reward blueprint!

What... the... fuck??!!
Really MA?!
After 13 years you still amaze me...

Instead of dissapointing 1 player by reverting this mistake you decide to dissapoint the entire playerbase (minus one).
Good job!

Look folks its Christmas, lets not try and get some poor dev the sack.

It probably wasn't their job anyway and they tried to get it sorted over some phone call with the person who's job it really was. For the sole reason to add some fun and make people happy.

If I was MA reading this thread, I'd say bollocks to them I'm not putting myself out there to try and make it special.

All trades are final right.....hahahahha.

Actually remember that time the poor dev was selling CLD in game and traded 1000 instead 1 CLd, something like that. Funny stuff. That got traded back though, because they player did it :)

Cheers up folks. Who knows the next mistake might be to your benefit. Besides this is getting worse than the time the MA dev was handing out the first vehicles in game , and the abusive chat in game was...well not nice.

Come on there's more to life; besides millions of ped has turned over since yesterday, its washed out already.

Rick

Who knows the next mistake might be to your benefit. Rick

Then next mistake should be FIXED! Just like this mistake and the Xmas 2017 ring. I commented on that strongbox post that the fact they didn't fix the BUG of the 2017 ring dropping and now all 2018 rings will be the 2017 ring completely destroying it's value was a MASSIVE mistake. I also said it gives me little faith moving forward they will do the right thing and fix future mistakes! Just didn't think the next mistake would also be so MASSIVE and soooo sooo soon. Think I'll stop Depoing for a bit myself now. This is just very poorly handled all around. This game relies to much on Bug and Mistakes being fixed immediately. Now they just aren't fixing them??!! That just really @#$%

I have higher standards for this game because of how important the economy is. Just disappointed we are going down this road.

Already mentioned in post #152.

To err is Entropian. :yup:

...using the whip is slow-play, not the bp (which is obviously a goldmine as it is one of those loaded ones).

On repairs, I don't know what you mean mastermesh. The repair increments are probably huge, yes, so it's hard to repair it to where you want, say 100 peds. But why does it cost more in a roundabout way? The efficiency is low, however, yes, not that that has been mentioned.
On the best mobs to tame fast with this until-now rare whip, Rick could probably tell us that. It might be the 20hp ones (bristle, arret .. any others?) Maybe MA are planning some kind of upgrade to taming, but that sort of wishful thinking can go on for years here.

So it turned out wrong, they admitted the fault and made a decission. Either decission would had caused a part of the community angry.

Why not be happy for the lucky guys loot and move on, if no response or secrecy Id be upset but this was fast response and transparency (hopefully they deduct 10k $ from the fired supportguys salery :D)

//L

(hopefully they deduct 10k $ from the fired supportguys salery :D)

They will deduct it from the Merry Mayhem event loot. Expect some bad returns today and it's just so odd after Several days of hunting the Event that today is by far my worst returns that I had to stop. Literally 60% returns with high efficiency and pills rolling and that just hasn't happened until now. Why would that all of a sudden happen today? Tin foil hat coincidence? :scratch2:

At least I have a lot of work this weekend so I won't lose more since I can't play. Ill wait till this blows over hopefully. The players will pay for this though.

They will always deduct it from the players and there will be no transparency on that because that is just business.

Ok I cant take it anymore. IT DOESN'T AFFECT YOUR LOOT. It was only 150kish. That is a drop in the bucket given all the ped cycled yesterday and today. Calm down.

Since he ran that BP I have cycled over 50k on EPIV. Was down 12k at one point, and am now up 3.5k. The loot is still perfectly normal. Relax.

Most of you know me and I don't come to the defense of MA too often, but this is not worth you all worrying about.

Anyone with long crafting logs since yesterday will show the same normal return.

Dude got a nice xmas present. Thats it.

I hope you all do too, whether in game or in RL. But ffs quit saying it affected your returns.

So, MA just magically conjures money out of thin air??

Well, in that case, why not just 120k ped for everybody??

Cmon man, you scream loudest and you stated yourself that you dont depo......there has been huge flaws and abuses inthe past that they didnt adress and when done it was allways in secrecy.

This was a firm fast and transparent decision, right or wrong but its nothing huge and prolly we got ourself a real loyal customer and game ambassador ;)

The fact that I dont depo to play has absolutely nothing to do with this.
I depoed more than enough 13 years ago. By playing wise, and not making 120k ped mistakes it allowed me to go on.

I'm quite surprised by all the fairy tail believers that this money just comes out of thin air.
And if it does come out of thin air, even more reason to worry about this bubble.

Our peds are no longer backed up by dollars.
In that case, MA can print as many ped as they want because if we all withdraw, they go bankrupt anyways.
Comforting thought, right?

So yes, the money probably does come out of thin air.
Free peds for everybody!!!
Just dont ever expect to withdraw it all.

Aren't you quitting? When is that happening?

Why is everyone writing about 112K? (Even MA)
2150 (tt of success) * 100 * 80% = 172k
That is, at least 172k ped tt of loot with near success. "At least", because with his alactual 47% SR return is usually above 80%.
(Yes, yes, I understand, it is not good to consider other people's money, but I just want to show that the scale of the error is more than visible through the EL)

Aren't you quitting? When is that happening?

Dude, do you have any idea how long it will take to sell out my mary poppins storage box?

So expect to see me here until it's empty.

besides, I said I will take out my cash.
never said anything about quitting.

We should start a betting game on all these people who are supposedly rage quitting as to whether or not they will still be here complaining about the next cock-up.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Detritus again.

I'll bet that they will all still be around for the next error that MA makes

That's what EU is all about, these errors and bugs... without them EU will not be EU. :tongue2:

120k probably costs us real crafters each about 3 cents a year over the 15 year history of Ped cycled crafting. We can all afford 3 cents.

And before you say it was taken from "TODAYS" loot pool, let me shut you up with a dick punch. WHOMP. It wasnt.

Nice try.

But please try explain if MA said it doesnt come out of the loot pool, where on earth do those peds come from then?
Why not just give us all 120k?

WERE DOES THE MONEY COME FROM????

Who cares? It is more likely to come from a MA cookie sale on the sidewalk out in front of their building than it is from your lootpool.

FFS bro, just let it go. They didn't say it doesn't come from the loot pool, they said it "wouldn't adversely effect" the loot pool. Learn to read.

Dude, maybe you should learn to read.
First you start shitting on me that I'm still here.
Then you start saying that I say it comes out of the loot pool.

If you find yourself so wise, please give an answer to my question instead of putting words into my mouth.

I just asked a simple question.

Where does the money come from?
