Right to the point, too busy shooting:

I've spent ~10k USD on strongbox alone in the last 2-3 years and best I've looted in value was L-amplifer Delta. How is it possible/fair to see some players loot more then one event ring? some of them in a row? :mad::cussing:

I've been supporting this game for years and I feel like the more I deposit the less chance I have. This feels like making fun of me right in my f*** face.

Need to spit this out i've been holding this for myself for too long.
 
I feel your pain, I have yet to open anything myself in a box. gz to the lucky ones that get multiples of awesomness, but would be nice to join in the fun
 
Over $4k usd boxes opened no rings (not even adj taming) and no laser/blp amp better than beta. /shrug

You have to time it like some doing it... There is a timer!
I don't open boxes as i dont depo.
 
Ive done around 400 usd in strongboxes from the shop, nothing for me, its not many and i kinda do it for the ammo with a chance to get something better as i only have Rings(L), but it is upsetting seeing one person get two good rings in just a few minutes apart.

that being said also, aside from the first 40 i opened which gave me the 5 rings i have now that are L, i havent even gotten another ring period.
 
webshop box usefulness died when they stopped doing the seasonal boxes via webshop and stuck em in game.

not really at all, when they did that change they also added a ton of more powerful/valuable stuff in them which make them worth markup and currently the regular boxes have the best bang for buck for depositing by far of any option due to the neurostim-a pills with markup and possibility for rare rings

Nothing against players who get them. I'm against system that allows this kind of things to happen. Gz to those who were blessed with such a nice item!

Ahh the waves... So.. with such a big amount of boxes opened I was so unlucky that I miss all waves :scratch2:
I'll try to catch one next time although i have no clue how it works..

I guess I'm about 1k and got the same results as yours.
EU is dynamic and MA is unfair...
 
Haven't you guys figured that after EP bps and looter professions were introduced this so called games showed what it truly is? It's an online slot machine disguised as a 3D game,with the plus of MU for stuff.
All that shit of being dynamic is just hocus pocus,smoke and mirrors

Some people argue that EP has ruined the economy so they must mean that it used to be a game and now it's just a big slot machine...

How is it that I can buy a weapon and ammo from the TT and go hunt, grab some mining gear and probes from the TT and go mine, but I should not be allowed to grab some mats from the TT and craft???

The people that click EP lose, most of them. They all click on condition and some of them lose a lot of money very fast. All you people that argue that EP has destroyed the economy of the game (the MU) are completely omitting the fact that people who click EP on condition are major contributors to the crafting loot pool.

yea, and when start the wave? This is ofc a secret :) If it is wave based, i think it could be not more unfair. If it so, then the whole system need a redesign.

This boxe stuff should realy only be random. It is like a lottery ticket, not hunt nor mining or craft, where skills and other parameters are important. Im not a fan of wavebased loot.

I like wave events, but not in loot :)
 
It's ok, since you have that $ and you have already spent them.
Life goes on. What to do? You don't have luck, you opened those boxes on the wrong timing, you are not the choosen one, what else ?

I never being getting stuffs too... so, i stopped chasing them...
Now even worst... you need to buy those boxes (in-game) to open...

Lucky to all the Swedish players, who will be banned from opening boxes, instead of that, they are unhappy about it. What a surprise!

Loot 2.0 is fair ? Everyone getting the fair shares ? Just listen only... and wait and see...

EU is not a casino, not even close to that standard. Why ? You technically don't have a 50%-50% chances and blah blah blah facilities.
( In a simple way of wording, no need to quote this and comment about it like you are a professor of casino or gaming faculties )


EU is a RCE mmo, yes... but some how, I don't see or feel how they define them in the clear / transparent way. Very blur (in my term) and you call it DYNAMIC (in your term).

I didn't get anything other than a Perfected Athenic for a long time, until I did.

It certainly seems to be easier to get big markup stuff the closer you are to MA home base. I'm only 8500 km away...

Little off topic but the guns you buy from the TT have like 2 dps, the mining gear? its a rookie finder. Theres nothing wrong with EP1 its a good addition imo, could even have been a technician BP but ep3 and especially ep4 however take so much money/markup away from the game its just a step too far. But just a case of MA pushing boundaries and going too far but not being able to fix it cus its rce so they cant take your bps away or nerf them. Everyone buying from TT and putting everything back into TT is dream case for MA but ofc game cant function on that alone.
 
The value of a box is 10 ped. Simply withdraw the ped you got from opening boxes. Yes, you pay a fee.
10k usd is 100k ped. Deposit 3k dollars and buy your ring
Use the other 7k usd to go on a Nice long holiday.

Oww wait you spent it all? Then I Just told you the plan for the next 2-3 years.

I have a more simple option then buying loot boxes or spending money on a "Steinner Box" as I call them

Buy ammo instead.. why? Well first ofrf it's 100% return (Plus a little for the transaction fee which is nominal), then of course go out and do stuff gathering up shrapnel and not selling it to the Trade terminal or another player Wash, Rinse , repeat till ammo is gone, then buy another round of ammo..

I'm been spending a lot less money per month, and have actually been able to extend my hunts to weeks instead of a feew days, a day or even a few hours.

Also as a side tip? Hunt smaller mobs, a lot of times i see guys who are "Underqualified " to take on a large mob (Thinking that the larger mobs will net you a big score. The reality is, the smaller ones actually all add up in the long run.

Also, Do your missions, don't just hunt for the fun of it. Poppa Coyote said it best.

"Get in, Get the Job done, Get out."

It'll save a lot of you folks a lot iof issues when it comes to the boredom.. Also when you don't have the money? Go out and look for those fruit stones and dung.. you'll be glad you did..

But above all, play responsibly, if you don't then you might as well give MA your bank account.. Nuff said.

they give you that in universal ammo, so you are "forced" to play them.
 
Ive also opened thousands with nothing.. friend whose also "lucky" in game opened few for test and got ring immediately.. not fixed at all..
 
Seasonal ring odds is something like 1 in 50 000 boxes opened.

So yeah, you ain't special lol.
 
I never have buy a Box, just deposit normal. With the Box you get a lot of stuff that not woth something, pills, pet stuff name things, decoration stuff...

Most of the stuff can be refined into UA.
