It would really great if there was some sort of light moderation (warnings, chat restrictions, etc) for certain global channels such as #calytrade or #arktrade, this could be done by advisers, officials, or even carefully selected trusted players could be given limited "chat mod" powers, almost anything is better than nothing currently.
Not that I'm saying it's completely horrible, but it's an extremely regular occurence for me to see people bickering, spamming unrelated advertisements, or just plainly spamming extremely excessively in #calytrade and other such channels, which is frustrating because my only option is to block players which feels bad and potentially prevents me from seeing actually worthwhile messages those players may or may not write in the future.
I don't think such moderation would take a huge amount of focus or manpower and I think once the rules that are pretty much unspoken common sense at the moment are enforced a bit people will adjust their behavior accordingly and stop using #calytrade as a platform to attack other players or advertise completely random stuff pretty quickly.
