Is MindArk "healthy" and do you plan on adding more resources to grow the product?

Our ambition is to increase the number of employees by seven in 2019 which is very exciting. In terms of MindArk’s fiscal state we would advise you to read the financial report released later this spring.

Hello,
It would be very interesting to tell us, if you know, in what department your 7 new colleagues will be :)
Will they be mostly developers, testers, designers, management etc?
Thank you

Yes, we've all read your fiscal reports and it's been discussed here many times by highly unqualified people. That's why I wanted to hear it from the horses mouth. I guess we'll wait and see.

LOL ! unqualified people ?

Lets say the cost of employing a member of staff is $3000 a month, thats 'another' $21000 a month they need to find from somewhere, or another 210 players paying $100 a month.

Well they must be confident with whatever big sales, MA are planning to throw at us.

Few more avatar statues coming up!

Actually right, to understand such a report it needs some knowledge in accounting.

If I read through the discussions about the financial reports, I see there is a lot people writing there who have obviously non of that knowledge, while others have fairly much of it.

It's ok, if you didn't get my joke (trying to make fun of him).
Well, I do read them, do sounded reasonably truth and fair to me, even to those people who replied in thread, are not so much far difference too.

Someone can replied and tell you, a small local auditor firm is so and so (a stick can be bend ?), same goes to someone who can comment an accounting policies can be so and so (a black paper can be turned white paper ?).

Seriously, the next reply will be a qualified person can give a QUALIFIED statement too.
Get it ? If yes, do you really get all my words and terms right?

I have to admit we've reached a language barrier here, I don't really understand what you're saying, my apologies.

I never claimed to be qualified in anything (in fact, I'm entirely unqualified in most things), that doesn't prevent me from running my mouth. That's part of the fun of the Internet in general. My question posted was an honest one. Financial reports are generally massaged to look good for a board of directors. I was genuinely curious if MA was expanding or circling the drain. It's great to hear they are adding more resources.

3000 USD in Sweden would be total employer cost for hiring an office clearing lady or tailor. If you want skilled developer with some experience you must deal with a minimum 5-6k USD.

7 new emloyees would cost them minimum 40k USD monthly. I believe they want to hire some game developers, IT specialist, gaming industry people who they really need not another directors, managers, do-nothing specialist, facebook and youtube key-users, business "developers" etc.

For now MA seems to be "every toilet has own director" kind of company where there are plenty of people who want to manage everything but nobody to do the work.

Also, rising company costs without assuring new sources of income for company sounds frantic.

Average amoung of employees 44+7 new = 51

Average pay in sweden is 3500$ (which is way below a programmer, or develeper)

51 * 3500 = 178 500 $ per month just for employees

Guessing other costs at around at least +20% = 214 000 $

That means if we have average amount of players around 5000, that means each one has to deposit at least 40$ per month for this game to survive.

DISCLAIMER: These numbers might be off by maybe even double (so take it with a grain of salt), id say the realistic amount is around 60-80$ per player / month - There are probably some players depositing high amounts in the range of 300-500$ per month and some even more.

True :bandit:

It's simple get rid of seven managers and employ seven developers/coders

They didn't say 7 full time employees...

Could be those work from home social media types ;)

:ahh: There's a good chance of that being true. They did say they want to focus on more communication ;)

This is the type of vague communication I hate from them.
Mindark: Oh we plan to hire 7 more employees this year.

Me: Sounds great. BUT IN WHAT POSITION?:eyecrazy: (Would give us an idea on what they are prioritizing).

LOL! bro, no worries. I will give you my good respect, regardless of who you are.
I was trying to make fun of you, when you commenting about unqualified people here are trying to interpret MA's FS. (I am very sure, there are...)

Technically, this is how forum works. Things will never be sure or real facts. It's just a place for discussion.
Only reason you know better than anyone else, because you are living close to MA or part of MA's families.

I wondered and very curious about you
Anyway, I know a Director who is childish (in act) and love to enjoy life, spending Company's monies exceeded the budget, but few things good about him are he is a super positive thinker, and managed to turnaround things at the most of critical time. Guess what? He is still the Director of the Company. Anyone who try to get rid of him, get punishment.

Based on the my sharing, your comments are baseless and stupid, unless you are being employed by MA before or you are MA's employee. However, if you are, you should not being stating such things in the forum. Breach of trust, can get you into big troubles.
