Lock on target has fixed the problem of awkward hitboxes on many flying mobs. That is good!
That being said, a number of flying mobs have attack ranged greater than the attack ranges of short range melee weapons (shortblades and powerfists), causing the avatar to rapidly spin in circles rather than attack the mob. Because the mob remains aerial during combat, it is not possible to close within attack range on these mobs.

Suggested fix: Increase range on short range melee weapons from 3-4M to 7M, decrease the attack range for the mobs to 2m-3m, or cause flying mobs to land prior to initiating combat.

ive suggested this 3years ago....:lolup::lolup:

With the camera system update and MA's stated intentions of fixing hitbox issues this seems to be relevant to bring up again.

Excuse me but..

Birds fly..?
And melee weapons have a melee range ?..

Indeed that's weird.. :eyecrazy:

Yes, most shortblades and powerfists tend to have 3m to 4m of range, whereas longblades and clubs tend to have 5m-8m of range.
