Lock on target has fixed the problem of awkward hitboxes on many flying mobs. That is good!
That being said, a number of flying mobs have attack ranged greater than the attack ranges of short range melee weapons (shortblades and powerfists), causing the avatar to rapidly spin in circles rather than attack the mob. Because the mob remains aerial during combat, it is not possible to close within attack range on these mobs.
Suggested fix: Increase range on short range melee weapons from 3-4M to 7M, decrease the attack range for the mobs to 2m-3m, or cause flying mobs to land prior to initiating combat.
