So actually I'm about to finish one of my brain fart projects, accessing cp cave that is, and I decided to share my future logs here (in an irregular manner due to working schedules).

Actually I have to do Aurlis to gain access. As a note: I usually stay away from this kind of mobs due to their significant regeneration capabilities and the whopping 4.5% tax. Needless to say that the generic Aurli loot table ist also kinda trashy (thumbs up for Kreltins though).

So one can expect, that I change the mob once I'm done with the 5k Mission.

My combat skills are maxed relative to the weapons I use, so there should'nt be a penalty while using.

You should consider 45B/50B.

45B if you can compare number of shoots vs beta and you get 4,21(mu comparation like 195/4,21=46,31 , same markup on both amps will be if you pay 45B at 151,14%/beta 2050%)

50B vs beta 4,14 so will be 195/4,14=47,1 (so you target is under 147%).

Edit: Price of beta is dynamic so u have to check from time to time

Thanks for the input. Will most likely go for it when my beta is worn down (which is soon enough)

The family of the Kreltin that fell victim to collateral damage within the last run tried to ambush me. Needless to say it went as bad for them as my runs with the Aurlis.

Do you calculate the amp markup in the offensive decay?
Seems like a nice setup. Hope the results gets better soon. And aurli and krelts were my worst mobs lootwise.

The Mayhem Beta enters the offensive decay bill with markup. It is round about 55.x ped for the weapon and scope and 12.x ped for them amp (calculating the one I used with 1900% markup).

The dpp ist listed without markup though, since I assume that MA isn't tracking the markup of any item for calculating the loot distribution.

The defensive bill is missing the adjusted restoration chip that I have to use 3-4 times on each run.

Seventh session 24.04.2019:

Loot composition (nominal tt-value measured in ped)

Shrapnel: 497.22
Animal adrenal oil: 311.40
Surface toughness component: 2.10
Advanced leather extractor: 0.45
Basic wood extractor: 0.38
Alien blood: 5.52
Alien acid: 1.02
Auril fangs: 14.40
Regenration chip 6 (L): 22.50
Creators Edge (L): 177.47

Decay:

Overall decay (Including Ammo burn): 1094.26
Including defensive decay: 2.69

Effective Result (Shrapnel valued with 1.01 due to conversion):

TT-Return nominal: -56.82
TT-Return relative: 94.81%

The rather small jump within the offensive decay is due to the new amp. Ran my healing chip 17 times due to the fact that I do not have the 2% life leech from the mayhem beta (you can add roughly 26 pec to defence cost).

No Kreltin ambushes this time.

This is not friendly loot... you really want to get in that cave?

The access to the CP cave is on my project list alongside with making a mid term player log running at an acceptable level of "econess".

I should have done the aurli mission back at loot 1.0 when I had a calytrek MKII at hand but skipped that for a soc driven cersumon event. I'm at 1k+ kills in the 5k chain atm, so I will bring it to the (hoepfully not so) bitter end.

I expected that I have to pay a certain price for the cave ticket. I did not expect the current magnitude though. But the game is dynamic (TM), as we all know.

The log will hopefully provide a quantified average measure with respect to cp cave access, since I'm not the most lucky or unlucky player (ran the log from the 500 kill mission)

One side effect of the log is, that one can see how fast (or slow) TT-return will stabalize over the runs due to the fact that the cost factor is held constant (more or less).

Another side effect of the log is, that one can cleary see that you should not expect a donkey shitting ped all over you, even when running with one of MA's flagship rifles for midterm players.

So if you (and others ofc) buy one of these weapons, you should do it with the soley purpose of having one and working it off by saving MU on L Gear (opportunity cost approach to the game).

You are including the amp markup in your tt return calculation?

Its probably a language barriar mainly due to the fact that I'm not a native english speaker. Nevertheless here is the offensive decay in a more split up manner (with respect to the last run)

Rifle + scope: 55.88 ped
Amp 45b: 38,2104 ped (this includes a 150% markup on said amplifier)
Ammo: 992,9417 ped

I hope this shed some more light on the calculations.

The dpp that i noted within the thread opener is free of markup. This is due to the an assumption that I made: I guess that loot composition, which is (stated by MA) directed by dpp, can only by directed by nominal dpp.

Actually I thank you both for asking questions, since I go through my logs every time just to see if I did something wrong and I also found something faulty: The "offensive" decay that I listed here already includes my defence costs :duh: Nothing spectacular since my defence costs are extremly small.

Regards

You are including the amp markup in your tt return calculation?

I am thoroughly enjoying this log, but I do have one concern that I wanted to voice.

You state that you are tracking MU for amp in your cost. Mindark does not take into account MU for loot comp/value so this skews your return as you are inflating your cost but still running off a standard TT return. This is going to skew your accuracy.

Example:

My kill cost is 10 ped.
I loot 9 ped.
That is a 90% return

Let’s say I have a MU on my weapon/amp that puts my real cost to kill at 11 ped.

So, My kill cost is 11 ped
I still loot 9 ped.
That is now an 81% return.

In reality, the MU calculated cost/return is incorrect as far as TT return which is what you state you are tracking.

I do believe that you would need to either track your loot MU (output) as well if you are going to track your cost MU (input)

You actually have a point there!

So actually I'll have to restart while listing pure tt in and pure tt out, read neither listing amp mu nor listing the mu from shrapnell due to conversion.

Thanks alot.

So I ran a Cat 6 (practice mode) for a short change (4 pieces of EST armor+adj pixi chest+Thorifoid helm). Robot looter sits at a noobish 24.99. Efficiency sits at 86.3, nominal dpp at 3.39909 and expected dps at 103.0072.

There are circumstances that lead me to the conclusion that it might be a better idea to post a monthly tt log, which I will do in the future.

So mods can close this thread or let it die.
