Suggestion: Heat bar / pvp

I got awesome idea how to make game hyper active in pvp segment.
And everione would be involved.

Ill take example :
At arkadia there is IFN and Smuggler forces ... so for example when you kill smuggler mobs your heat bar raise .... when you reach level 1 of heat additional smuggler forces show up and if you kill them,after few times Smuggler HQ put bounty on your head of 10 ped and immidietly that player become killable and anyone that kill that player get 10 ped ...same system could be implemented on other planets and to get larger heat level need to kill larger level mobs and of course those that kill larger mobs are stronger oponents tho .

Scale of bountys can be organised by level of reached heat level.

On RT it could be police and on other planets could be something else.
I think its much better idea then oil dropping.

Would be nice to know if your idea is for the lootable pvp or the non-lootable one ?

But tbh...i rly dont see the sense of this....who needs an re-enabling of pvp if it isnt lootable..
(and the lootable one has its customers/citizens)

And yes what the former poster said....who pays the bounty? it has to come from where....

well there is always a way where could it come from like there is a wy oil on rigs come from ...
also there would be mobs that wouldnt triger heat .
but the ones that triger might contain loot with markups as well ;)

well by that non lootable pvp would not have reason to exist if this exist since if you are on heat level you are in non lootable pvp everiwhere .... but the loot that comes its not from you but from system after the kill...
 
Who's paying the 10ped as a bounty?

who ever pays for oil on rigs :D

if today drops 100 + ped on rigs over system it shouldt be problem to provide peds for this idea as well .... also you need to count in cost to kill player under bounty ... its also not free but still ...

Ye..ofc let ma pay this...they will be glad for sure...

If you create this in lootable pvp...nothing would change from the activity we have now...

If you create it in non-lootable pvp...this would create too many open questions....also think about how easy it is to abuse the system then and empty ma´s pockets this way.....wouldnt be good for them and us players....

maybe think about some other options ..a bounty on some space mobs, or as a mission from a terminal etc...

by hunting mobs that triger heat you would go for some loot that pays out and also you wont probably be able to kill high bounty players anyway cause they are higher level players...

low lvl players wont be able even to do such hunts till at least certain level ...
also 10 ped is only an example it can be 3 ped 6 ped 10 ped for 3rd level :)
its a system some ppl will be under heat cause they might be dependable on the loot that drops from mobs etc ... there is 100 different ways this can be achieved.
 
Till recently there was planet entrance fee and no one was finding hair in egg :D
But now suddenly where would bounty fee come from , like whats up ? :D
 
Also to add 1st player who triger your bounty by making you dmg you can kill him and maybe lets say couple more trigers and earn a bounty thats on you :)

on lvl 1 heat you need to repeal only 1 attack on you to earn your bounty of course different for larger bounties ... you need to repeal 2 3 bounty hunters to earn bounty on you :)
 
You do realise that MA would implentent the idea this way:

For every mob you killl you will get 5/10/20%/(insert some number here) etc less loot return. They would then put that loss onto your avatar as a sort of mob loot (you would not get this ever). When someone kills you, they will get the tally of your mob loot less some %. So essentially, you the player become a mob but instead of people getting a return of the cost they spend, they would get a return of the cost you spend killing mobs. You would be giving your ped away.They would most likely put some sort of time delay or logout loss as well. Now they would also have to take into consideration that this could be exploited as a way to "transfer" peds from one avatar to another....which would make it hard to stop.

They might have to implement some sort of loot pool from every mob shot in this area instead of per avatar to make it more like just another mob but with worse returns.

When coming up with ideas you really should think of how MA would implement the idea, not just say they will pull the peds out of thin air. They are not a charity, they are a business and will look at how they can take the peds from the customers, not themselves.

People would just hunt in 2 person teams and kill each other once the 10ped loot is available ;)

IMO it doesnt need those 10ped, it could be an additinal challenge to hunting certain mobs that you would receive the consequences of your actions. This might still be worthwhile depending on mob loot and if there is a way to reverse faction decisions.
 
Also bounty can be something else dont have to be peds maybe bounty strongboxes something of value but point it to have pvp aspect on the go .
I rarely go to rig and there oil is picked regular . So what is that for MA and for players ? I mean no one can take tt finder and find oil ?

Many areas are taxed by 5% so using same method for awarding bounty i see nothing against it and i consider it apropriate, for those that dont like idea can always do mob kinds that dont raise heat.
