Paypal is Down

PayPal will do business with anyone so that tells me a lot.

Not entirely correct , they have rules and will stop proccessing payments for various reasons.

Actually one reason is if there are too many chargebacks/complaints.
Being EU and the way things work, wouldn't surprise me if someone new to the game deposited a few times and ended up losing it all, then went to paypal saying they either never authorised or MA never delivered. If that happens a few times, paypal will stop accepting payments until its investigated which could take weeks or months.

Could even be the same person, creating a new paypal account, depositing then running EP4 until they either hit big to withdraw or lose it all, then complain to paypal and get their money back.

MA are not very good with communication so perhaps they don't reply to paypal in the correct timeframe.

Who knows, but to judge a company soley based on how paypal operates is a bit childish.

MA must have been blacklisted by PayPal. PayPal will do business with anyone so that tells me a lot.

There are so many wrong assertions there that my eyes roll , I keep my breath and give up.You are right.

I think your spot on with this one. If they haven't already they need to clarify to paypal this is more or less a casino. no chargebacks period.

Wow.. Ok. I am judging MA on 14 years in this game and 14 years of poor communications. I agree that MA probably did not communicate with paypal. Seriously? Calling someone childish is a bit childish don't you think? Maybe I should have communicated better myself. paypal is a crap corrupt company that does not have standards. While they may shutdown a corporation for charge-backs they also allow ANYONE to open paypal. My 15 year old son has had one since he is 10! I only found out because he was buying weed from another kid and paying with PAYPAL and that kid got busted at school. I stand by my assertion that paypal will do business with ANYONE.

Now feel free to be childish and judge my parenting skills.... Go...

Guess i hit a nerve deep down, how you parent your child is up to you. It may or may not have a reflection on your child, nature vs nurture is still one of those debatable topics.

However Your prevous comment though insinuated that because MA got blacklisted that they must have been up to some very shady ****, as you said Paypal will do business with anyone ..... but no longer will with MA. So what in your opinion is it that MA did that was so bad that paypal would rather allow drug dealers than MA?

Heres something, a 10 year old can open an account with EU as well, they can open a bitcoin wallet and open a bank account. They can look at p**n sites easily too. There are a lot of things that 10 year olds can do. When it comes to paypal, you expect them to look into every account that is opened? Do banks look into every account to make sure nothing shady is going on? No, neither do MA nor do Paypal. Your accounts only get looked into when flags go off or if you need to increase allowances and are required to provide ID and are under the age they have set in their terms of service. MA will lock your account if they need to investigate, doesn't mean that you have done anything wrong, it just means they need to limit the potential liability while they investigate. If you are found of no wrong doing then they will unlock your account. I am sure it will be the same for MA and Paypal, the only question is how long.

So while you may stand by your assertion, it is still childish to insinuate that MA has been up to no good without any hard facts and going by the fact that some kid at school has a paypal account and sells weed. Also to say someone is being childish by calling you childish, well that just tells us everything.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to messi91 again.

I think Darksky was saying PAYPAL was very bad, and they are. I would say evil, but google said they would never do anything even close to sneaky, google is evil also. But this is all silliness just get a major credit card? No fuss no muss. If MA got blacklisted by paypal, I think MA should wear that as a badge of honor.

random, but has anyone contacted Paypal to see if they offer any explanation for no longer having business dealings with Mindark?

Why is paypal still down? :eyecrazy:

haha while at the same time convince the governments that it's NOT a casino. all they have to do to appease everyone is say look we take from non believers and give to our friends and that is ok in our religion.

Paypal service is currently down, we are looking into it and will post an update soon.
We do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.

I contacted Paypal, they said my account was in good standing send and receive money internationally.

They went on to comment that they cannot disclose other account information, which makes sense. So, something on MA end isn't right, and I don't know that they have gone to great lengths to rectify the problem. Any insight from MA into this would be nice, but that doesn't seem to be happening either.

Highly doubt it has anything to do with MindArk.

If anyone from support can inform us of the status in regards to PayPal, I would be delighted.

I have updated my support case (again), I will the thread know what, if any updates there are.

i sense improved communication as usual ;)

Kind of might have something to do with MA.
AFAIK Paypal does not like having the end-user have to pay the fee (or knowing how high it is), like most credit cards also do not want the end-user to know.
And MA surely will not pay them out of their pocket.
Fees have increased immensly for PayPal, right now they are from around 1% two years ago at around 5% (which im combination of not good conversion rates means even lesse PEDs on the card).

But has nothing to do with PayPal pulling out of Libra, yes the fees are mad these days, though still people like to use it and thus seem okay to pay the fee ( or got trapped in a monopoly).

ETA? I'm not depositing w/o pay pal..................

if paypal is never coming back please fix the problem with card deposit limits resetting after every card change!

Seconded. Only MA would drag their feet on something that actively prevents customers from giving them money. :scratch2:

it seems that Pay-Pal is finish.
I stop using it some months ago anyway.
I wish some other company to come up with better customer support.

I hope PayPal will come back, else I will have to find something else to play.

curious to know how we make MA implement it, both in webshop and on deposit website, and how many years it would prolly take :silly2:
