Come on Ludvig, don't be silly. It was not pointless. That's a real question! This is a serious question. Look what is happening in world of gaming. Gamers tend to leave MMO style of gaming, it is dying as a gaming genre. People who are familiar with current state of MMO games know what I am talking about. Just search in google "MMO's are dying" and you will find out that massive multiplayer role playing games are going to oblivion. The biggest titles are loosing tons of players, once powerful and populated now become abandoned. WoW, GW2, LOtRO are struggling to get new players.
Yeah yeah sure but EU is 'different' - it is a 'real money'. But aren't people selling (legally or not) GW2 gold, items etc? Some of them are making nice penny.
Welcome to new world old men. World of card games, football and basketball card casinos, cyberpunk 2077 and battle royale. There is no room for MMO's anymore, maybe except WoW Classic.
EU is for sure long living kind of game but it is not eternal. The end will come someday. Keeping in mind all factors, current state of MMO's and new wave of gaming styles, how do you think. When EU servers will be closed?
I know MA does not like threads like this one and will try to find a way to close it, that is why I post this Immunity Dog which do not allow you to just simply close this discussion
