I shot some in the south part of Amethera.

I marked the areas where i've seen Fungoids in pink, the eastern Area is a really heavy spawn with lot's of other mobs and I found it pretty hard to survive, the western spawn is a smaller one and spread over a large area, you can also find some equus there, goodluck hunting!
There could be some other locations too, but I don't remember them atm
