The problem may have been caused by the update to the EU website and some problems with it, rather than Bertha herself.

Bertha is a simple RSS content retriever. If Mindark changes the structure of the html on the news pages on the EU website (as they do quite often), then Bertha often encounters errors, or displays unusual text or formatting.

This would all be much simpler if MA created an RSS feed for its news items (which they have promised to do after updating the website), so hopefully this will not be an issue much longer.
