Skill ratio over 2k!

We all know that over the 2k in any skill the skill-gain works slower.

Own much slower?
In other "old" threads I gained that it should be a 1:2 ratio.
This should mean that 2500 LWT is like 3000 "natural" LWT (2000*1 + 500*2)

Now, after the skill-nerf, the ratio is changed.
Yep, we all know it but I think i got some data to calculate the new ratio

Follow me please.
The other day I gained PR 1 in Laser Weapons Engineer.
That means that all my LWE related skill get to a grand sum of 100 (medium values)
The skill that should influence my PR1:
LWT: 2127, influence on PR of 4%
Eng: 15.48, influence on PR of 28%

all other (inteligence, Machinery, etc) should have a minimal influence because they are 1 (23.41 for int)
For influence % look at Jimmy_B thread...

so, in numbers:
PR1 = 100 medium skill points
100 = LWT(2000)*4/100 + LWT(127)*A*4/100+ENG(15.48)*28/100

I assumed that the skill part of LWT over 2k as an A factor that we should determine...
after a bit of math:

A = 3.08​

what does this mean?

I think that all skill over 2k as now a multiplicative factor of 3 (an 1:3 ratio)
So MA in the skill-nerf just increased the skill-gain from 1:2 to 1:3, as to say making it 100% more difficult to pass from 2k to 3k.

P.S: this 1:3 should be valid in the 2k-5k range... but not take it as granted ;)
 
Well That took some working out. Guess you have to much time on your hands, that you should be using to play.

However I hope that you have calculated it wrong. But some how I think that will not be the case.

So what is next at the next VU a 1:4 Ratio???
 
I don't think it works like that tbh.

I always thought it works like this (example numbers)

lvl 3 will be 1% harder to get then lvl 2, if getting to lvl 2 cost you 2 ammo, getting to lvl 3 will cost you 2.02 ammo.

lvl 5001 will be 1% harder to get then lvl 5000, if getting to lvl 5000 (from 4999) cost you 500 ammo, getting to lvl 5001 from 5000 will cost you 505 ammo.
