i second "mining deposit names changed"

- i've extracted a medium of blausarium, but the value was of the old "ample"

- so we're gonna see any mamooth around? o_O

i also second that drones do more damage (tested on gen 01 with rascal, i think is an increase in burn damage)

other changes:

• armor plates design changed, they hired some orc designer (but i like them)

• maybe is only my impression, but skills seems to act according to weapon. i miss more with axe, better precision with katsuchi

• some change in loot system, but I can't point exactly at it. one thing, as an example, while hunting in a 3-members party and money set to equal, ALWAYS the money loot was perfectly diviseable by 3

• definitely changed the ores disposal, i need more time to get a clear picture

•*u can't anymore drop bombs while swimming at the surface of water, u must get down to bottom

•*while sweating, if animal attacks, u can't switch to weapon, the sweating is interrupted

After the first day, better economy for me. I must test further.

Some places you used to be able to drop probes are now 'Unable to mine at this loaction' :/
Notably around the bottoms of the steam vent places that looks like it is water but is solid.

I dont like the new 'one click' mining action though, wasted more then a few probes last night because I had not realised detectonator was equipped instead of gun after placing a probe :(
 
You know how when you're driving, and someone does something really stupid in another car, and puts yours and your families life in danger by pushing you off the road, or something like that....

Well multiply that by 10 and you get how annoyed, angry, hateful and frustrated I feel right now.

I gave it a go... I blew 100 ped on ammo... got 17 ped back.... then thought no... i'll try again... tt'd all my wool etc... and went out again... I'm not even going to talk about the loot... just the amount of missing. Standing RIGHT IN FRONT of an ARMAX Cow Provider... huge assed mob... and shooting at it... i miss like 9 out 10 shots.... ITS NOT MOVING .. neither am I.... how do I miss so much....

Im only just grasping onto sanity here.. everything in me is just screaming to give my login and password to the very next person I see online.... and then delete the PE dir.
Really... I honestly don't normally get upset with the new VU's...but this one is SO crap.... I really can't play the game anymore..... help me please... tell me I'm the only one feeling this angry right now !!! Tell me its just because I had a really stressful week.... tell me its all in my mind.....

No, because it took me 10 shots to tag the thing.... While walking backwards away from it, I missed every single stinking shot !!!! I normally kill these way before they reach me.
 
I think it's time for me to learn new hunting tactics.

Could be just my imagination but there seems to be some positive changes in "trapped mob issue". Like they don't hurt me trapped or some developement in their AI.

Trapping a mob, getting some distance, moving so it gets free, shooting, trapping, repeating etc. should be tested.
 
They squashed my flower :mad: tried to equip it and it said "this item is damaged and needs to be repaired at a repair terminal before you can use it" LMAO so I tried that and it needed to be repaired 1 pec! I've been robbed! damn you! :laugh:
 
I noticed the missing shots as well The Mighty, mind you to be honest I noticed it was bad at the start of VU7.5 as well and it seemed to get better through the next few days for me then, but I know what you mean what with wasted probes and missed shots I was getting a lil pissed :(

Then I go and get my first hunting global in about 6 months so things cant be that bad :laugh:

I'd say just wait a week or so then try again I beleive it will improve.

I will say that overall last night the whole thing seemed to 'flow' better for me. Its hard to describe but it just felt smoother. Dunno maybe it's just me ;)

That is probably some lag issue. Happened to me as well- Standing IN FRONT of the mob and missing 1 out of every 2 shots.

Anyway, dont lose your mind! Take a break, things will get better! Yesterday PE was FULL to the TOP, loots took ages to collect, constant crashes... etc..

I posted an anger thread recently... and now im cool. I mean... whats the point of getting mad? Think: 100 ped is 10 dollars. You spent 7.5 dollars on 1 hour hunt. If you were in a casino, 7.5 dollars would last 5 minutes lol. At least you skilled a bit with that ped. (and believe me im totally on your side)

Just chill, you will feel much better. Take a break for a month, and you will see things will get much better. (a 2 day break worked for me though).

I agree on the casino quote but this is a game also, and there are a lot cheaper games out there to play. MA want new blood to play this game and help it grow, but if mining, crafting and hunting all have really bad loot for most people, who would really want to play this game anymore.

I would rather throw my money down a drain than give it to MA if they are constantly making it harder for us to make any money at the same time as increasing Decay levels costing us more money.

The real problem i see with these VU's lately is the fact that all these bugs are costing us Players Real Money to find out the bugs that the testers should be finding. If MA want there players to test these bugs, then they need to supply monopoly money for us to use to find these bugs and help them iron out the problems in the few days after the VU has been released.
This would please everyone because we wouldn't be wasting any money and there would be a lot more people in game to help with Bug Hunting.
There would be no skills obtainable for the few days of Bug Hunting when using the monopoly money, so no one gets a freebie, and all items received or crafted etc would have 0 ped value and can only be TT'd.

IMO it seems like we are paying to find bugs that the Testers are supposed to be paid to do?? Either that, or get rid of the testers as they are not doing there job very well and implement the Monopoly system!! :confused:

*Items can't be used sometimes when they are equipped.
 
What about the messeage i get all the time. Right above our private message.
I u have made a bid on the auction and u are overbid - that is the where u can see it along with 1000 of other messages.

Well I have just made a test with the CBA-5 ME
First when u both bleach and color it cost 25 pec per try in decay alone on the tool.
Then I tryed only bleaching and that cost 12 pec. Colored the bleach item cost 12 pec.

So that means it cost 24-25 pec

Then I tried something else. First I bleached (12 pec) and then before coloring I took the CBA-5 ME off and when u color without that it cost 1 pec. So here total is 13 pec.

So even if you're not bleaching anything but have it have it on your colorator your bleaching tool will decay while coloring.

Would that mean that the less skilled should even be able to color blue, yellow or other colors with succes? Then the less skilled will might give it all up!
 
Changes i noticed are the following: (not sure if they are already posted)

1: The laggy exiting of apartment towers is gone, or at least reduced.

2: When you pick up dung it appears in loot window.. weee :silly2:

3: The at ease stance for male avatars is fixed, which i like very much.

4: View distance has changed (perhaps only for me and/or ati users, i use an ati card)

That's about it thusfar,

after VU some (all?) single items (not resouces) have amount 0 (zero).
Just look at the auc in PE! You can see the difference.. Open e.g. weapons - ranged.. and look.. I've seen there 2 marber plazma.. one have quantity 0, and another one 1. What will happen if I guy the one with quantity "0"? I'll get one and the seller will keep his/her own???

edit: just checked ... no.. all is fine.. it's just showing "zero".. but all the rest is the same

edit: when I open inventory and click on Axe 1x0 that is empty (0.22ped value) .. it's showing that it's fully repaired but with cost od 0.22ped

Ok, got that. Darn then I already lost a few peds on that bug. Didn't know. I guess the easiest thing is to have two colorators until they sort it out. One with a bleacher for bleaching, and one without for coloring.

That's not really what I meant. I mean color should be difficulty based. With a % system it would be very noticable.

Say a newbie could have with 20 cans:
20% CoS with orange
15% with yellow
10% blue
5% purple...
etc...
0.001% black

While a really experienced colorer could have with say 5 cans:
100% orange
100% yellow
100% blue
90% purple
etc...
20% black

Something like that. That's about what the system is like now. I have better chance of success with 1 can than a newbie has with 20.
 
I am missing alot too,
I was out and hunted with axe
I stod still, mob stod still and I still miss more than I used to.

i dunno if it's just me, but i have a huge problem keeping my BP's in the books.. I have to put them back in the books everytime i logon and sometimes they are bouth in the books and in my storage :confused: And that's pretty anoying, having a full storage of BP's. :mad:

And the message said they were FIXING the database :D Seriously, MA(rco). Your testing department should be fired and your QA department should have their entrails ripped out and be dragged by them from here to Damascus.

We are NOT a testing team, damnit. I seriously fail to see how a few improvements can fuck up so much at the same time. I've seen poor situations at clients, but if I ever went anywhere where this kinda stuff happened, I'd advise my management we might not want to get involved. Coming from a consultant, that's extremely bad.

Before the VU was applied , in my items i had some bombs stuck in world , which i didnt ask because i waited to have at least ten bombs stuck to ask u.

Now after the Vu , my bombs stuck in "World" are "magically gone"
Not in storage , nowhere. Where did they gone ? is this yet a New feature ?? Well i payed for them and i wanna know why u didnt put bombs in storage or let them in "World" ?

I'm a consultant of sorts as well... it's someone who gets paid to come into another company and give them suggestions on how to make their business better.

More changed stuff

- I was unable to loot a killed mob at least TWICE so far. Why? Connection lost. Of course, when I return all MOBS in the area are gone.

- I found a LOT of fruit today ^ ^.

- I had a mob trapped behind the corpse of another mob. I was unable to damage the trapped mob. I WAS taking damage from it (Nice freeloader there, MA), but was UNABLE to loot the dea MOB.

I am, however making a profit with my Cobra ME. I just wonder when it'll be considered bugged...
 
Anyone found decoys yet?
Since this VU I already found 3 of them, to none before this VU. I don't think this is a coinsidence. They pop up just like fruits and shite...
Or is this just me?
