Good stuff. Rare on one planet abundant on another making interplanetary trade viable.
In fact could be interplanetary trade could be a trade profession of its own.
 
I went mining on NI and found 3 hits of blood moss in ~200 probes with my tik200 (L). There entire middle island is full of it. Go anywhere there.

Even if you got Blood moss for TT, this would not be true. Sure, if Blood Moss was more commonplace, T5(L) might go for 106-110% (which you will realise is a very good thing, if you think about it) eventually, but that is pretty much the lower limit, unless crafters are selling off faps at an artificially lowered markup after getting a hof. Same applies to higher T faps. And I don't think Blood Moss or Medical Comress will be going for TT, ever.

as a former hunter that paid out the wazoo for T series faps i have to say this is nice.

as a miner i think it sucks, but oh yeah i don't goto pvp4 so i could care less.

its bad balancing though that i do care about!

As far as I am concerned, bad balancing is the amount of Blood Moss finds on Calypso.

meh, guess you still need rather a lot of it to actually profit any from selling it to Calypso with the auction/travel fees :dunno:

A smart trader might see this as a great opportunity. go to Next island packed with weapons, amps, etc (rookie mining gear maybe for the newbies that start in the planet) and buy the resources from the locals like blodmoss at a good price to take back to calypso. Any trader with a 5k ped budget can make a killing.
 
Is it only me who thinks it's a bit funny that the avatar on the screenie is not Mikass? :lolup:

So Mikass goes lurking around the gallery looking for hints and cheats? Does everyone do this or am I missing something ? :D

I imagine that any "smart trader" will keep miles away from the idea of trading bloodmoss in any substantial quantity until they and we see what happens to the MU on this resource.

I`ve had a small contest thread(check mining forum) with 20ped for first who posts a blood moss hit. This avatar was the winner and he sent me the info in pm.
 
this is horrible and i hope it is fixed soon as bloodmoss belongs nowhere else but in pvp4 whats next pyrite up in NI or Himi? Come on MA

I urge all to report this as this will crash the price of this sadly

Yes it's very sad i hoped it was a bad joke. I guess the price will go down to around 200% in the next weeks

There is also sweats that can be drilled out there apparently too lol
maybe one day nothing will have bigger markup than 130%

Between TP fee's and/or auction transport fee's you'd have to mine a shit tonne of Blood Moss on NI in order to make it worth while selling at low MU.
What's rare on calypso may not be rare somewhere else. That's the way the ball rolls.... besides.... why is everyone stuck on making big money in this game? Maybe the games' just evolving so that it's cheaper to play. I've said for years that MA should look to "wet their beak" from each one of us as opposed to raping the PED cards of a few.

BM should not be anywhere but in PvP 4 m8 its a priviledge to mine for the ores and enmatters there that should not be given to just any random nub as seen in the picture a newbie in his orange clothes mining in a non pvp safe zone just cozy and getting the good mu

This is why it should remain rare same as other PvP minerals there are many other resources these newbies can mine that will not require them to use a toxic shot or to gear up for PvP for and if they want to get the rare PvP minerals then use a toxic and go to PvP 4 and face the consequences of dying and getting looted .

Yes they wont have the same mu but imop these people dont deserve to mine it.

me and several friends have filed supports i urge others to do so also.
 
I never thought a planetpartner could 'ruin' an another planet like this.The harder/risky things should stay in risky places imo.
btw.. what does NI only have in lootable area? Oil? :scratch2:

Planet Partners can not do this. All the balancing decisions for all planets are made by MA. I wonder how often I will have to write that? :scratch2:
If MA sees the situation as it is as best for the good of Entropia as a whole then so be it.

There is so many other ways to mine pvp4 without having uber PVP gear. I have gotten plenty of blood moss in my pjs in pvp 4 and not a single shot from another player.

besides with the Planet travel fee... the traders will have to have a big bank roll to move that back and forth. I don't see much of that happening too soon.

And you couldnt kill any pker lol i bet u i could kill u with my untiered guns. wouldnt even require to use my tier 4 or tier 10s on someone like you :laugh:

I Agree Blood Moss for all who dare risk going in PvP 4 and accept the risk hence the MU Stays Up same as all PvP Ores and Enmatters its how it has been for a while and how it should remain being.

Many more have reported it i urge all you to report it plz. Tx

Exactly, it is obviously already a hell of a task to balance one planet, but to balance stuff that is rare on one planet and drops like candy on another?

I wholeheartedly agree - otherwise there is no point in going into PvP as a miner anyway, why risk a toxic shot + loots you have on you when you can import that stuff from enother planet for half the price...

And what exactly do you base that statement on, smartypants? It is not going to become true just because you repeat it over and over - it's nothing but an assumption, and actually, i think MA COULD NOT have done this - my "assumption": Neverdie and minions placed it there, to give people a reason to go to NI (which obviously only works as long as this is NOT published, now the markup is gonna hit rock bottom).


I cannot believe that MA gave sanction to this, not for the life of me! They may not be the sharpest tools in the shed, as we've seen in the past (bonus skill events!), but they cannot be THAT dumb - if they do not fix this asap, it will kill the game for me, completely.

Ok, then I wonder why they want that to only drop it in lootable on Calypso.(FPC can't specify that if you're right.)
Im sorry, but I doubt they do that.

On the other hand FPC could had specified that in the beginning as their own rule to just have that in lootable.
That doesn't rule out others to let it be 'free'.
