Guide to sweating for beginners (reposted from Jaguar Spirit Forum)

I am not exactly highly experienced, but I have picked up a few tips whilst playing, so I thought I would share them....
SWEATING ON YOUR OWN...
I would suggest for beginners who are sweating on their own to stick to the areas immediately around Port Atlantis and the North & South Swamp Camps. Also only go for certain creatures, namely the Berycled Puny and Tripudion Puny. This is because these animals only have small attack rates, and thus you will get killed less often.
Both Tripudion Puny and Berycled Puny dish out 20 attacks per minute, however the Berycled Puny has a lower damage rate and is a lower threat than the Tripudion Puny. Gathering sweat from these animals is however slow, as you will only get a maximum of 10 sweat per animal.
TEAM SWEATING...
If possible it is always better to team sweat because you get more sweat than doing it on your own and hopefully have a good chat too.
I have found two easy ways to do this.
Firstly, If someone is organizing a team sweat & hunt (called a swunt) then follow join the group and hopefully you will do well. Usually these swunts are organised by experienced players, so just follow there lead.
Secondly, you can often go to Nea's Place (you will need Nea's Place TP to go there) but it is only worth it if there is a group of people sweating. The animals there do provide a lot of sweat, but they also can kill you with two or three hits so the more people there is the better.
Also Limnadian District is a good alternative to Neas Place as pointed out by Daenerys (thank you for the input)
There are however a couple points you should take note of for all team sweating.
1. The team needs to surround the animal being sweat-ed and get close, as close as possible. By doing this the animal can't run and sweating is easy. Also damage is shared out by the team as the animal keeps attacking different members.
2. If the animal attacks you DON'T RUN as this will cause the animal to follow you and breaks down the benefits of the team. Also if there is a healer in the group it is easier to heal someone who is stationary.
Plus a couple general sweating tips...
Learn to setup the 'auto use tool' button which allows you to sweat without clicking any buttons, just aim and turn on auto use and thats it.
If you prefer not to use the auto sweat button, then I suggest holding down the mouse button constantly instead of clicking. This is because when you get hit by the animal and it says 'concentration lost', if you keep the button held down, sometimes it carries on sweating as if you never got hit.
Sweating is also a great way of building up your other skills such as evade and athletics, so take the hits and try not to run.
If anyone else has any tips, then please feel free to add them, Thanks.
