Where the Melee Amps?

Hyper imp mod overcharged amps for Ranged Weapons and no one Amp for Melee thats sucks alot !!

When come the Amps for the Melee User?

Just no, doesn't really work.

Melee does need a revamp I agree, but please no amps :( Would just be so sad.

why would it be sad?
 
Don't call it amps, call it a sharpening stone or sharpening kit and you're good to go IMO

it does not matter what it is then... the problem is the ranged weapons have a weapon upgrade (AMP) always since the Entropia exists. The Melee Users have nothing .....

And I also have a shotgun in RL that I have been using for 5 years and it didnt increase tier and I dont have amps for it either!
 
Based on pieced together information from the devs, I think that melee amps maybe will come in the PP update in mid-October? :dunno:

Then they need to realize that they are energy blades and not steel.
There would be nothing 'unrealistic' about amplifying the power output into an energy blade. (if there was realistically such a thing)

It's actually much more realistic than having a BLP amplifier......

Not all are, if someone forgot(MindArk?) we have powerfists and claws, the claws probably are metal tho...

Same with knifes and swords not all are energy based but I guess most if not all are metal blades so add some electrical charge to them wouldn't be too unrealistic either. (or coat them with some poison(aka acid))

What would be unrealistic tho is to use ammo instead of decay on melee, and i would hate that to happen but for some sort of amplifier/sharpener it's perfectly fine.

and yeah the blp ones... but maybe they amplify the liquid in some way?

Edit: also the question needs to be:
"Where are the Melee Amps that is useful for everyday hunting? (increase dps AND dpp and unlimited like Omegaton and Fi/Ra/Co series)"

Not true we have more armor/fap decay then the rest :yay:

I really hope there will be unl or cheap L amps for melee when pp update comes

There shouldn't be an issue with consuming energy cells imo, would be the same thing, its increasing power output for an energy weapon rather it is a blade or laser or plasma.

its not that hard , make the amps energy, adding a boost to energy blades naturally and doing the same to all other melee weapons by heating the metal parts.

Im sure MA have a good aproach on this, i for one look forward to the melee profession to once again rise as a valid option in everyday grinding.

was supposed to be included in vu before summer but postponed due to some unknowns things (source kim) and now supposed to come in october vu, but will it ?
 
I like the idea if they were to release a new serious range of amps to have them as 1 PED amps that use up energy cells much like the 1 PED weapons we see.

This time, please MA, make the amps useable in the context of that they can do 10k shots/hits.

Ok 5k at least, it is freaking annoying to go back 1/4 hunt to repair or to buy 2 or 3 of the bastards.

And today is 14th of October already, no news or anything... Not even if the long postponed melee amps would be in this partner release.... :(

Of course I prefer another delay to them releasing unfinished work.

We'll have to wait I guess.
