The Colonial Xenobiology Institute (CXI) has issued an urgent request for assistance to prevent two dangerous species from gaining a foothold on Eudoria. The CXI fear that Daspletor and Cornoanterion pose a severe threat to the native flora and fauna of Eudoria, as the Daspletor once did on Amethera.

The Daspletor and Cornoanterion reportedly escaped from a cargo ship forced into an emergency landing west of Minopolis. The two species can be found in areas near the landing site.

The Daspletor seem to have wandered down to the desert regions south-southwest of Minopolis (near 86118, 84189), while the Cornoanterion have remained in the woods to the west (near 86913, 84790).

Initial investigations of the salvaged cargo ship have uncovered no evidence of sabotage and are instead focused on a possible malfunction in the security systems on F.O.M.A. - Fortuna. This security malfunction could have allowed the Daspletor and Cornoanterion to board the ship while docked prior to travel to Calypso.

Help protect Calypso’s ecosystem from the potentially devastating effects of these two dangerous and aggressive predator species!

Please report any sightings of Daspletor or Cornoanterion in other areas of Eudoria to the CXI immediately.

Hunting challenges for these two creatures can be acquired from Hunting Challenge Terminals all over Calypso, or from NPC Simo Hayna on F.O.M.A. - Fortuna.

Big Bulk and Defender robots are greedily snatching our land around the following locations:
    • Boreas
    • Camp Phoenix
    • Fort Ithaca
    • Fort Pandora
    • Fort Sisyphus (lower level robots sighted)
    • Fort Troy
    • Jason Centre
    • Jurra Plateau
    • Minopolis

Why? Strategists are saying they’re occupying land for future RX cache mining, that’s what!

If the DSUs suddenly reveal the location of an RX cache, an excavation would be easier for the robots if they already occupied the land at that location. That way, there’s no need for colonist expulsion!

It’s like they’re sitting on an ‘egg’, in the hope that it might possibly ‘hatch’ an RX cache!

Let's not make it easy for them. Let’s push these vultures off our land!

Defender and Big Bulk robots are attacking across Eudoria! The traditional robot territories around Minopolis, Fort Troy, Jurra Plateau and Ashi have all been reinforced with the ‘heavyweight’ robots, with some lower-strength Defenders joining the attack against Fort Sisyphus.

It seems the reinforcements have been sent in an attempt to widen robot territory.!
Brigadier General Yevgeny de Souza stated that “Colonists must help contain these attacks — at all costs”.

    Insider Information: Trading Tip

There are rumours that a ‘Shady Scientist’ is seeking certain scavenged robot parts. The scientist was last seen at Fort Troy and it’s speculated that he is a disgraced researcher from the RDI.

“Help me I’m at Argus beach!...they’re everywhere!...No get away you flesh-eating bas...get away!”

The above audio and this very strange, distorted picture were received just moments ago from CalyNET reporter Jeffrey Talston. The picture was presumably taken using a highly damaged imaging device. It seems Jeffrey is a truly dedicated newsman, even when facing imminent temp-death!

Unsurprisingly, Fort Argus beach has been declared a highly dangerous area by the CDF.

RDI Xenobiologists have officially confirmed that ‘red’ level readings of Eomon Pheromone have been detected, suggesting that Eomon Migration will begin in 3-4 days!

The Eomon Migration is the high point of the Summer and a chance for colonists to hunt great herds of Eomon and Longtooth as they travel their ancestral migration paths.

Colonists can also follow the continuation of the exciting Eomon Story:

Recent attacks are most likely caused by Maffoid warrior coming-of-age rituals, according to the Imperial Exobiology Institute.

Encroaching colonist and robot settlement on Maffoid hunting grounds was also believed to be a causal factor.

The IEI warned that “the threat level this year is off the charts!”.

Colonists are asked to be careful when travelling in the following areas:

    • Cape Corinth
    • Half Moon Bay
    • Camp Icarus
    • Camp Echidna
    • Aegis Mound
    • Fort Medusa

Elvyn Vies, detained for several weeks for illegal collection of Eomon DNA samples, was found dead in his cell this morning. Simultaneously, the contraband DNA samples were stolen from a remote RDI storage facility. Four RDI and CDF employees were killed during the two assaults, which were captured by security cameras. Both men involved in these attacks are known associates of professor Charles Marvin. Elvyn Vies also appears to have been under Marvin’s influence before being arrested.

Charles Marvin has been on the run ever since being declared a traitor to Calypso due to gross negligence during the Feffox crisis, leading to multiple deaths and large-scale destruction. His motivations for procuring these samples are currently unknown. However, the CDF is currently allocating additional resources to apprehend the men involved and recover the samples quickly.

Further information about the fugitives cannot be released to the general public at this time. CDF believes that releasing the information may lead to a higher risk of violent confrontations between the suspects and colonists. Because of their apparent interest in Eomon DNA, we hope to apprehend these suspects as soon as possible. If this does not succeed, the CDF may consider releasing further information to ensure these criminals are brought to justice.
Until then, be assured that CDF are doing all they possibly can to keep you safe.

    Major Ushakov

RDI officials reports that Eomon pheromone levels have dropped considerably, indicating that the migration will end shortly after the weekend. Some pockets of Longtooth separated from the main herds can still be found in locations around Eudoria.
