Those masks look fantastic, you're a creative and talented artist! A strange observation though...I've collected a stockpile of makeup items when they were cheap at auction, but the feeling I get now is that makeup masks are the new "norm". Just like tattoos in real life...it seems EVERYBODY'S got 'em. As beautiful as some are, I think the more I see them, the more I like my face un-inked and natural. Just my 2 pfennigs.

Maori Moko's are heavily based around Koru designs which is derived from a native plant here in NZ;

Hooks and Koru are important, our country's origin according to mythology comes from Maui pulling "Te Ika a Maui" (Maui's fish) from the water. The fish was killed and it's carcuss is now our two islands.
