Sad news & happy news together..
Next week my sis will get the keys to her new house.
I promised her to put tiles in on all the floors + kitchen.
Also need to do some other stuff there so my time to hunt will be very limited.
I will however try to get some runs in & update this log.

Ooh small update, did an upgrade after previous run & went from imp ares to mod ares

Well, I guess that most of us will profit if we loot a full ESI!
That's what I call, winning a lottery.

But nonetheless refreshing to see indeed.

Thx, I haven't really been away, just working in my sisters new house so way less time to hunt & I like my delay size on the log.

Not really..
I've been there, I had 3 ATH's & several UL sib guns.
All it brought me was grief from several other players.
I still haven't changed my mind about EU, some ppl have big swings & get the big loots or markup drops, other ubers don't get those but get tt+ on a smaller swing.
I personally prefer a small profit with a stable loot then the more volatile swings.
It's not like we need a 10k ped compensation loot with an UL gun with huge TT.
With the new dev note, I might need to lower the hp I hunt, just to have neough bankroll (not really what MA wants). This also means more running, more tagging with lower dps, so less turn over/hour.
The other thing is, how many hunters will be happy with this system? It's not like those bigger hofs have more markup then a regular hof.

I can't complain tbh.. I just think MA needs to look at this from aplayers view & bankroll.

On another note, I'd like to thank all for not following me around while I hunt, I had serious doubts about doing this log as PCF admins wouldn't let me use an anonymous account to make this log.
I'd also like to say that I started tracking again after a break & decided to do the log right away, not after I saw I was going + (so not like MA promoted this good start)
 
Decided to get a couple of hours hunting in while waiting for material delivery.. ofc they went down :yay:
So I'll give you guys another update.

From now on, till otherwise stated my armor setup will be diffrent & I can't really check.
I either used adj pixie + 5A & thori helmet with an adj fapper (elena or yatch).
Or I used phantom +5b & healed myself with the usual setup.
I also seem to have put the cost of the fapper in the mu part off my hunt, as I wasn't healing myself.. not sure if this is the correct way to go but.. it is what it is.
I also included the tips I paid in the mu section.

Thanks for the kind words, in the back of my mind, I always hope the effort I put into sharing get's used by some people. It just shouldn't be a copy/paste of a setup that works.

PS: We really should get the old gang together & do something fun (team) one of these days!

For the people paying attention to the numbers, you can see I used way more mu this run, that's becouse I used the adj pixie setup with adj fapper & put all the fapcosts + his tip in the markup part of my expenses.
 
Its amazing to see you can consistently pull it off in tt+, big gz!
I am trying the advise of going smaller mobs from non-la and fap myself - neomex, caperons & Cyclops Depths.
So far, 89.6% tt return on 18000 ammo, 97.71% with MU got lucky a bit on MF amp.

I really wish I could give you more specific advice, the main problem with that is that I never had the dps nor skills you have or could do that kind of hours/day.. Not sure how much diffrence that makes these days.
Could you give me an idea of how many peds you do an hour?
 
it depends, my run size is ~2000 peds ammo and 380-450 ped repair (variance of armor decay)
typically 4 runs working days, 2 weekends
if lots of running like on caperons then close to 4 hours - and can get to as little as 2.5 hours if dense spawn rare switching like eomons

So about 1k ped/h then (I'm running at a good 750)

on Caperon, my brain says go do the stalkers & stick to that maturity.
My guts however say that there's more chance on youngs to get a 1k hof, the question then ofc is, how many times a week can you do that.

On marci, I would try med size (rav-dev) alltough I did them b4 loot 2.0 only, I lost a bit on them but mainly, I found my lootswings to be pretty big on them

Neomex, I haven't even hunted yet.

EDIT : on mobs like these.. I would camp one for 15k ped & then see if i want to stick to that mob

Time already told you! Or you actually expect more before you consider yourself lucky??


Sorry Das, but this just doesn't sound very right of you find looting UN sib guns or full esi's normal.

If you look well, you will see an aura above your ava's head

Just to give some background on the ESI story.
B4 this log, my biggest team ESI was around 600 ped TT on a big kreltin.
Solo I had 375 ped~TT as biggest in dome 4 on big aurli's doing mission.

Normally looting UL sib guns..

People do loot rare stuff if they hunt enough, looting UL guns is normal, just check the rare finds.. cycle enough on big enough mobs &..
Also, it's not like I loot 1 every week, I've been here +10 years, I think atm i'm at 1 UL weapon looted each 14 months.

Absolutely, just on another lvl.. are the levels balanced is another Q, IDK I don't do the smaller mobs.

Time will tell..
I might be in an upswing & the newt 500k ped cycled my mu goes to shit.. who knows? I know some couse I have a headstart at this log but, the plan is to keep posting the runs as they come. (FYI this log was started after I looted the ESI's.

About the part of feeling lucky..

I depo'd my part way b4 I looted my 1st UL gun or ATH.

Did I take out some cash since, sure...
So I still upgrade & buy gear, sure.. as you can see in this log..
Did I get to a point of break even.. maybe about if I count all I have ingame at current mu.. but who knows what tomorrow will bring?
FYI, I took out about 50-60k ped so far since I stopped depo'ing in 2010.

Das, this run you are showing a 6k profit. I'm trying to figure out what you hof'ed on I don't see it in any recent time frame...
