Can’t zoom in/out?

Yo - weird issue - had this happen once but I can’t remember how it went away.

Can’t zoom in or out with mouse wheel or gestures.

Scroll works outside of Entropia

help!!
 
Try hitting the "V" key once (assuming you didn't change the key binds) and then attempt to scroll.

What’s V key? If that’s change 1st to 3rd, I’ve done that…(sorry not at my pc atm)

Yeh, it's change 1st/3rd person view. I used to get stuck in it and was unable to zoom until I popped out of it.

Don't really have another suggestion for you =(

Hey thanks for the suggestion
I tried that - I can change from 1st person to 3rd person but still very zoomed in and can’t change with the scroll at all
So weird
If anyone else has an idea, please suggest thanks!
 
Check your Camera options..

Its really weird :oops:

Tried that - unfortunately didn’t work, good idea though
Seems like I’m stuck at a zoom level
Also, scroll worked on the client loader, but nothing in game at all
 
See I told you there is gremlins@@!! I got a recurring keyboard issue where my keypress locks up and I can't recover (yet able to type in chat). And it takes sometimes 3 or 4 relogs to get it to act normal. I totally see this as the same issue. It's funky spaghetti and not even mikey likes it!!

What do you play with, laptop or PC?
If you using laptop disable the touchpad then start the game.
Sometimes we keep our palm on it and it affects ... I don't know it's really a strange problem.

I do play remotely, but will try mouse tomorrow
Will try the disable thing tonight
Strange that scroll works in all applications I’ve tried other than entropia…
Is there anyway to lock scroll??
 
It may be a problem from an additional application that only affects the game.
Very often the strangest problems have a simple solution of negligence ...
Replace the mouse .. restart your computer .. stop other applications you are using now. If none of this helps, reinstall the game.
Uninstall... PC restart and then install the game again.

What is your the windows version?

Windows 10 - I’ll try a game repair - I think I’ve restarted

Did a full reinstall of game and a remote app, didn’t work :(
 
Even with a scope on a gun, I can go into scope mode, but then can’t scroll/zoom in or out

Have you tried another mouse?
Replace the USB port. Your mouse batteries ... Try the simplest things first.

Use the maximum distance option in the camera settings to reduce the distance until you solve your problem. And as you were hinted above, with the V button, change from 1st to 3rd mode.

I have no idea really and we can only guess here, obviously not a simple problem that depends on the game to help you.

Yea doing mouse later today when I get home
Strange that I can scroll in everything except EU - again, I can even scroll in the client loader
Tried full screen and windowed mode
I submitted a support ticket as well
 
PROBLEM SOLVED!!

Here are the details:
Plugged in mouse
Scroll/zoom worked in game with the mouse and remote application
Then I unplugged the mouse and scroll/zoom also worked again on the remote app again without a mouse

not sure what the hang up was, but plugging in a mouse made the issue go away

so strange because mouse was not plugged in for the longest time

What the real root cause was is still undetermined… windows 10 or EU, idk
All I know is scroll worked on all applications other than EU

Exactly!
Just as a FYI, I use Splashtop as my remote software
 
FYI#2 - I can scroll/zoom with or without the option of “Scroll Changes Mode” being checked… it doesn’t matter

so weird

maybe this should be moved to bug reports??
