My PC only uses around 300~400 W.
So, it "only" costs around 30~40cents PER HOUR.
If you say your PC doesnt even use 90 cents PER DAY, well, then you have a very little PC and a very good electricity rate!

At that rate it’s not worth it to even use your lights in your house or watch tv… so I see your concern. How do you even afford to heat water or cook or keep your house warm at that rate?

I had to restart my log again so I have correct decay after my error, but so far I’m 300 ped in and up 100 ped! What a good first opening to the log I’m going to post at 30k kills to compare with someone else doing 30k soon hopefully.

If the loot u want is In waves killing them faster gets u less of ur loot just find optimal kills per hour for best mu

example: i killed mobs which i wanted loot from. 300-400 kills per hour gave me average 1 loot per 100 kills.
i cranked kill speed up to 800-1000mobs per hour and started to get 1 item per 200 kills so twice the decay for my MU item, because the item had 2 waves per hour so was just waste to kill faster

I pay 9.3 Canadian cent per kw/h holy fuck your power is expensive. Is your power provided by a private company burning gasoline in a generator or some shit that’s insane.

My loot is not in waves it comes at a guaranteed drop rate more or less

In my state of Australia we have very high electricity too, highest in the country, but still comes in under half of your rate. Our power reliability sucks too because our country has a massive hard in for renewables while selling all of its coal to China so they have have cheap power… . Priorities.

My energy bills are quite low. Nowhere near €1K or even €200 p/m as I'm with a new energy company in the UK and they're amazing. Allows me to play as many games or use as much gas/electricity as I want lol.

I enjoyed reading this thread and seeing the accomplishment overall. A majority of my hunting skills were before codex and I spent way more time and peds but granted I do random unfocused hunting.

Dr. G has grown an avatar really quickly in my opinion and made a profit doing it, this is amazing and the true EU dream. Better to make a small profit and enjoy the game you love than spend crazy amounts to play it.

Besides, what else is a girl supposed to do while trying to maintain a hive and her husband arches a fraudulent super scientist? She is making a wage for those henchmen!

Yea I bought an es400 so I scan sometimes while hunting

Able to guestimate decay on scanner? Since scanner decays and partially comes back in loot, the decay from scanner 'should' count towards your costs for hunting in my opinion. Keep up the good work though!

Scanner decay does not come back in loot sadly. Ma says so that it doesn’t at least I asked them and will post their reply here; but decay for scanner was about 15 ped in this run I think

I didn't see this occurring when I tested this while doing looter level tests a while back. One of the weirdest scenarios was discovered that involved a scanner & team mob.

Test 1 -
Player A shoots mob with Azuro, single shot
Player B kills mob

Result:
Player A & B get back their expected contribution * multi on kill

Test 2 -
Player A shoots mob with Azuro, single shot, then scans mob (i used TT scanner)
Player B kills mob

Result:
Player A gets back nothing
Player B gets full loot

My guess is something with the cost of Azuro being lower than the cost of the scan makes the mob 'forget' you even shot it, didn't happen the same with bigger guns

Hmm that is very interesting. I wonder if I shoot once then scan then turret if I get nothing… I’ll test and post here. My scanner is low decay though so I’ll try with the es400 and the tt scanner as well

I am going to start posting updates of each "run" I tried to keep this all in one "session" so I could show all the loot from the entire run on Entropia tally but it was crashing a lot due to the large session so I will break it up into runs to post more often here.

Are you running any reload speed buffs? If so make sure you're properly calculating the decay costs on your tracker because with your gun and any reload speed buffs it'll easily throw off TT returns by 5%~
