Changes

  • Nanocubes can no longer be purchased directly from the Trade Terminal.
  • Nanocubes are now obtained by using the new Recycle tab in the Trade Terminal interface.
  • Most items and resources can be recycled into Nanocubes, with a few exceptions including: items sold at the Trade Terminal, non-tradeable items, Shrapnel, and Residues.
  • Recycled items generate a stack of Nanocubes with a value equivalent to the item’s Trade Terminal value.
  • Nanocubes can now be listed at auction.
  • Shrapnel can now be listed at auction.

Such issues are often addressed via mini-patches directly after a release and in subsequent patches. If you feel that the possibility of encountering minor issues or bugs directly after a Version Update affects your gameplay to an extent that Entropia Universe is not enjoyable, please wait until the mini-patches have been released and any last minute issues have been resolved.

So, can't transfer planet to planet (via AH) cheaply. Local nanocube markets get set, go go go?
 
Shrapnel also? Wow that’s awesome for other planets especially.

Do you have control of Bertha Bot? Or do all the employees? Just interested in how that works

BerthaBot automatically pulls articles posted on various pages of the EntropiaUniverse.com and PlanetCalypso.com websites,and posts them here on PCF (note the "Originally Posted Here" link at the bottom of every BerthaBot post).

Hmm, I was really excited about this until I read that residue and shrapnel cannot be converted. I kind of understand the shrapnel, but not being able to convert animal oil residue is ridiculous, it has virtually no use, except a few missions on Next Island.

It would be nice to have a response regarding this.
 
Nanocubes are waaay too heavy ... 1kg per ped is WAY out of proportion and has always been

UL NGL weapon was really only UL weapon in this category that was available to low level folks to use. Suggest making a blueprint for that to give purpose to lower level crafting of explosives. Heck, even putting a tt weapon in that uses explosives might work. Yes, puny do allow you to loot some weapons but they are typically low tt L weapons that don't last long. In order for this change to really work there needs to be a 'use' for the crafted explosives. Having weapons, or a series of weapons that allow for avatars to skill up in this category of weapon would be a good idea.

There were rocket launchers somewhere, maybe combat token trader?
Also lower, not puny, but relative low rocket launchers drops too, for example small neomex drops a lot of rocket launcher that mostly tt food.
As i see the demand is already lower than the supply there.

Big Fn Mistake. Deposits will crash. EP recycle dead. Its a tax on our mats that are shrinking faster than our Icons. Not to mention rampant inflation.
EP gamblers will pay the tax, which will be negligent. If I can sell 10k ped tt crap for 10010p, it's still 10p MU extra for me as a hunter. For a recycle clicker, this means nothing. For armatrix and enhancer production it means nothing - no inflation to worry about.
 
Good update! Kudos guys! Happy to see the these changes wanted by the community finally happening.
 
EP gamblers will be fine. i know for sure that i wouldn't quit whatever is my primary gameplay loop over a 0.3-0.5% increase in costs. And now since shrapnel is marketable, if they follow it all the way through on recycles they can more easily make up that markup on the backside. That was some smart thinking by MA to throw EP clickers a bone that will also benefit everyone.

Got no problem with EP gamblers. But it never made a lot of sense that they basically were playing a different game totally disconnected from the economy. This just brings them into the fold so that we're all playing the game together again.
