Thanks for the links, I usually search for threads first before posting but I didn't think this was a topic that would be too common, I guess I was wrong. PE is definitely being very deceptive if it is run like a casino because that would not be a real cash economy... it would be real cash...

Is PE like a casino where in the long run after enough time has passed you will always lose money no matter what or are there actually people in PE who consistantly make profits? (This is in respect to any of the more professions: Hunting, Mining, Crafting)

I've seen a few posts on this forum of people saying they were selling their skills. How exactly does this work? Can it be a little profitable?

Hmm, I never thought of it that way. The creature paying for itself to be killed, very cool concept. I guess now that I can kill these creatures if they spot me, instead of having to run back to the huge gun turret, it will make sweating much more bearable. Thanks for the great tip.

Thanks a lot everyone for all your responses. I now have three different strategies to go with, I didn't expect to have this many options. I guess that's what makes this game so interesting. It's gonna be hard to choose one but I'm sure they'd all work great.

I was wondering which tends to be the most cost efficient form of hunting, melee or ranged? With melee you don't have to buy ammo but you'll likely be repairing your armor and weapon more frequently plus you'll likely be taking more damage and have to buy FAP's or wait longer between battles...
